The thing I liked about the Bridgetons and Queen Charlotte was the thing that anything is possible. I look for books to inspire or to what could be by looking in the looking glass of non-fiction and fiction. Yes, there may be things that are, hmm, disparaging or horrific, but at the end is always a positive message to encourage, persist. It's just like the movie Figures. Imagine how many children would've been inspired if what we knew then what we are beginning to learn now. Instead thinking something is impossible to possible. I appreciate Ms Quinn in sharing her story and her advocate for non-censorship.

This show reminds me of "The Redemption of Ham" by Modesto Brocos. I don't understand the fascination for Black people. I guess it would help to watch but I have an aversion to the imagery.
