- Apple recently introduced a new green color option for the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro. And while many people love how it looks, they’re also upset that Apple didn’t make the color available at launch. Since most people who wanted a new iPhone already bought one. So why did Apple wait six months to release a green iPhone? Well, that's what I'll explain in this video.

It’s actually nice to get the new gen iphone after their march event. Not only do you get the real life use reviews but you have the option of the new colorways too.
fr. the reviews done right after release are so biased, so a refresh brings back hype and a *less* biased review.
Honestly there's nothing to review on iphone 13.
It's a tried and tested design, improved battery and brightness and improved chip.
You can't go wrong buying this

I'll be happy to admit this sales tactic worked like a charm on me, once. In the Spring of ‘18, I impulsively upgraded from my iPhone 6s+ to a 256Gb 8+ product Red. I'd never owned a “flashy/bright” colored smartphone before or since that one. Good job, Apple marketers!

@@blaze22_j99 That 6s+ was donated to my 75-year-old Aunty. She was plagued with problems from her old Metro PCS ZTE, so it worked out for both of us. Btw, she is still happily using that 6s+, and once that dies, she can have the Red🙂.
I have the green 11 pro max. The new green one looks almost as good. Hoping that color sticks around and they make a dark purple version too.

The green one from the 11 pro was nice. When I got the 12 pro, I was pleased to see the nice blue. Since I needed an new phone, I knew the blue 12 pro was the one for me.

@@yosha313 I mean if you’re buying into a device that’s going with you everywhere, try to get the color you like. If they didn’t have the blue, I would have gotten whatever I could. I needed an upgrade regardless.

I upgraded from the XR to the 13 Pro once i saw this color being released. Its such a beautiful color and in my opinion the best. Plus, jumping from my XR to this is a noticeable beefy upgrade. Better battery , brighter screen , apps dont constantly refresh all the time anymore , 5G , much better camera .

I hope the iPhone 17 will be in a pretty colour too! I upgraded to the iPhone 12 pro in dark blue as I was in love with the colour, but I don't feel like upgrading so soon haha!

There is usually a mid cycle color option. Last year it was purple. Some people are rich enough to buy a new phone 2 times a year.
I just got it a few days ago (3/23/22) and I love the color. It’s pretty cool! (I had a black iPhone 11 that I traded it with Verizon.)
Just got my 13 Pro Max in green and I am glad I waited to upgrade. I’ve noticed that the green really shows when the light hits it just right. But other than that it’s a fantastic phone

I got the green one and I love it, it really is nice, my sister got the sierra blue and its also really nice. Apple did good on the colours this year
In my opinion, unless Apple wants to release 5 pros color options I think Apple should ditch the gold color. I mean Black and Silver/White I get it those are the standard color and go with everything. Gold is kinda meh. I understand that releasing a new color can bring new life into the product and if that is the reason then release new like purple in the middle to give its new life. But releasing two unique colors at launch will give people more choice and upset when another new color comes out later.
Just look for a nice green case. Even though I’m careful, i still have my iPhone in a case so even though i have the blue phone. It’s not really noticeable except around the camera area.
I got the alpine green around last month and I love this new color way….. hopefully they make more new colors they haven’t made before ‼️

Updated from 11 to 13 mini RIGHT when the green came out. Literally on release date. It was because of a T-Mobile deal so I just consider myself lucky

To sum up, Apple waited 6 months so people would be excited for the new color as if its a new iPhone.
I got the 13 pro in the green it look super clean I love it. Big change for me updating from an 8 lol.
Also it come with all the new updates. Witch maybe they all do idk. But I hate updating and I thought that was super dope.

The green one is such a great colour! But I also love my Product Red 13 mini and as I‘m using it with a dark green Apple silicone cover, giving it a Gucci and a Christmassy look at the same time, I feel that I‘m already riding that dark green wave anyways! ✌️😎

I admit, the new green iPhone is pretty but I'm not ready to give up my blue iPhone 12 yet even though I got it almost 2 years ago now. I hope Apple keeps purple as a color option. At least I can rock a purple phone if I don't go for a Pro in the next iPhone I get!

I just picked up a green 13 and traded in my blue 13 I’ve had since the release with TMobile. I made the switch simply because I think the color looks way better and since I only upgrade my iPhone every 2-3 years I would much rather have my favorite color Phone for years.

As there is rumor about Apple replacing iPhone Mini series with iPhone Max series, maybe Apple should announce iPhone Mini during March event. In that way, they can boost iPhone sale during the gap as well as satisfy compact phone users. Win-win situation. And also maybe add iPhone Pro Mini too along the way.
I don't know what I'd do if Apple didn't release the mini iPhones...

I think the green colour is supposed to represent Apple's "environmentally friendly" business plan, the green means nature and the green iphone means Apple's "close bond" with nature
Notice how I used quotes while mentioning Apple's "Eco friendly" policies
It has to do more with the fashion industry. This specific shade of green has been appearing lately on fashion runways , with major fashion brands like bottega veneta, Prada and Zara using it.

I have a Sierra Blue iPhone 13 Pro Max and I always thought the green color on the 11 Pro Max was the best color Apple have ever made so obviously I felt out of luck when the new green came out but when i saw side by side comparison with the Sierra Blue I actually think my phone color is best
Green on the iPhone 11 Pro Max was great I just wish it was a little bit lighter so it was easier to tell that it was green and not black
I totally agree with you. But you forgot to talk about the release date of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in product red. It was released in march 2018, almost one year after the product red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were released.

But apple also offers same colour silicone cases for those who already bought the latest models, just get a green case and you are all set, plus the case will be better seen by others 👌😊

i think you failed to mention the fact that they chose green of all colours. dark green, along with other more neutral colours, are becoming much more popular in recent years in fashion, so a muted tone dark green iphone is perfect to release at this time
Green is too good. I was waiting for discount period since I wasn’t happy with any other colour. Luckily green came out & it was a satisfactory purchase. Since I don’t change too often. My previous phone was 6s still going strong & smoothly with 15.4.

Every iPhone that I’ve ever owned is in a otterbox case so I can’t really see the color. Just now, I peeled back the case to remember what color I picked. It matters so little to me, that I actually had forgotten.
Not to slam other people that actually care about the color of their iPhone. I just find it funny that I don’t care at all, and it seems to be a big deal to lots of other people.
It’s very interesting that these cases negates the actual phone color. Never to be seen again, until it eventually dies, and you take the cover off and think…”oh yeah. Nice color”. lol

I typically skip a gen or two unless there's something SERIOUSLY advantageous of getting a phone. I had my 11 ProMax well into the 13's lifecycle and only got a 13 because people have convinced me that ProRAW is REALLY that good (spoilers: it is actually that good).
This green Iphone 13 & 13 pro color is a throwback to the green Iphone 11 and 11 pro

You forgot to mention economies of scale. As Apple makes more phones, the cost of each phone goes down. Apple would prefer you to buy an iPhone 13 the day before the 2022 September event over the iPhone 14 the day of. It makes them more profit for that reason.
