- Yokaichi is roughly a 1.5km long street in the City of Uchiko (Ehime) and the center of what used to be a city named Yokaichi. There you will find time almost frozen. If you ignore of course the few cars passing by, as well as many beautiful houses, gardens, stores, cafes, ryokan, bamboo craft workers, the amazing natural wax museum and natural wax candle makers, which all have been featured in videos in the past on TokyoStreetView! Now set back, relax and enjoy the beauty of Uchiko Yokaichi old Town!

Amazing channel!
Dang the sky is beautiful!
Les rues semblent vraiment désertes...
Pas de touristes, ça fait plaisir
💙¡Genial! 💙
What are the clean walls... No one bad graffiti!
Your videos are beautiful. They would be even more beautiful if they were filmed in hdr!
HDR is still a bag of hurt for a few reasons.
1. You cannot have both HDR and SDR Video on the same file. Watching HDR videos on an SDR screen is ugly as hell, and so far the number of HDR capable devices is utterly none existant compare to SDR.
2. To accommodate everyone (see point 1) I will have to shoot each video two times, one time in SDR one time in HDR. Unfortunately, I am still losing a lot of money to film SDR video, I don't see how I could afford to spend twice as much time to be able to offer HDR. (Please consider supporting us on Patreon ;-) www.patreon.com/TokyoStreetView )
3. HDR is, unfortunately, and last time I check, only available on devices like ATV, Chrome TV and a very few numbers of devices. Meaning that on your PC or Mac, even if you have an HDR monitor, you will most probably not be capable to watch HDR content out of the box (you will need additional software).
Lovely and so peaceful and quiet. Thank you.
What was happening @11:05? Even the local bystanders seemed amused!
Some kind of wedding/couple of photography shoot in Kimono.
Sugoi!
I'm always curious how shop owners in these places make enough money to make a living and keep going. In Kyoto in such streets its obvious but here its hard to imagine. Unless the tourists are all waiting until you finished videoing before they all came rushing in😁
They don't make money and there are shops to rent there for almost nothing. It's basically a museum place. I went there this winter. My video is here: ruclips.net/video/q1IatDMz0ws/видео.html
