Thank you for taking about our short-film LOGAN THE WOLF. I appreciate it!
I recognise those boulders! Fontainebleau right?
incredible work
@@thingswelike yes correct :)
I just had to watch it. Looks amazing! Some of the action is really on par with the end scene of Logan.
i gotta check it out!
I love how only about 20% of the Madam Web part was actual VFX discussion and the rest was just laughing at the baffling decisions made by the writers/director
The effects aren't very bad the choices and decisions are the bad part
The CPR scenes had me laughing uncontrollably in the cinema. My gf was not happy about that, although she had to agree the movie was crap in the end.
S.J. Clarkson is the director of Madame Web.
5:00 The drawing behind the stock video of the producers made me crack up.
As a healthcare professional, I love seeing that non-healthcare people know how dumb the CPR was 😂
yep, but also a lot of people don't know how hard you actually have to press to do proper CPR, she definitely wasn't pushing hard enough lol.
is CPR considered ineffective now?
@@NoirTech83 No, it's super important. But she didn't even check his pulse to see if his heart had stopped. She also wasn't pressing hard/fast enough.
@@NoirTech83 It's ineffective if you use it on someone whose heart is still beating. And you need to compress about 2 inches, which takes a large amount of effort.
@@NoirTech83 No CPR is still good but not in Madame Web. There was no check for a pulse or breathing, so it was unclear whether the CPR was actually necessary. Additionally you need to really put your back into CPR or else it won't work (if you're not breaking ribs, you're probably not pushing hard enough). Proper CPR is EXHAUSTING. In the movie all the CPR was so light and effortless, it would've been as effective as politely asking the person to come back to life.
Collapsed lung? -> CPR
Broken Arm? -> CPR
Malaria? -> You better be doing CPR
Clearly they saw Chris Rock’s old bit.
Chris: Daddy I broke my leg!
Daddy: Robitussin! Pour some ‘tussin on it! Let that ‘tussin get to the bone boy! Run out? Put some water in a jar and shakeitUP! Mo’ ‘tussin, MO’ ‘TUSSIN!!
COVID-19? CPR. With resuce breathes.
Compress all the things!
Victim: "Ma'am, I actually think I'm fi-"
MW: "UH UH UH UH STAYIN ALIVE"
Took @DoctorMike 's advice way too seriously
I love when it’s just them because you know they’re going to make fun of some goofy CGI
Yeah, I'ed never even heard of this 'Dam Web' comedy movie, I might check it out, it looks hilarious. 😂
You knew because it was Madame Web 🤣
The guest are alright but these videos are so much better without them
@@cam8868 When they have guests and talk about their work it's very rare that they genuinely talk about bad CGi so as to obviously not insult said guests. I like it better when it's just the Corridor Crew because they talk in a more genuine and honest way.
Absolutely. I like their guests but they need to do more like this too; it's what put them on the map. Sometimes it feels like they're turning into access media shills when they won't criticize obviously bad movies or cgi.
With 1500+ comments you'll likely never see this, but thanks for bringing up that Deep Rising sequence. I worked on the makeup effects side applying the blisters and wounds sculpted by Rob Bottin's crew. Stephan Dupuis lead our application team (Stephan, Doug Morrow, Bill Terezakis, Rachel Griffin and myself) which was overseen by Bottin. I remember the sculpture we had for reference in the shop (which was used to create the 3d version as well). The Kino Lorber dvd release has some behind the scenes stuff with Doug and I and some video footage of the head sculpture. I had been dying to see how that gag worked when we were doing the makeup. Incidentally, I believe the animation was hand tracked to the live action plate.
incredible work. I guess I should not be surprised that Rob Bottin was involved.
Helll yeah!
At 4:50, that S is still lit and flickering deep underwater, that's hilarious.
I want to know how deep a lit firework would be able to go underwater! Even a bullet isn't lethal anymore by that depth (see Mythbusters), a fact/hope often enough used in movies... So something much slower with far more drag will? And burn, while the water is there to instantly cool her?
@@SenselessUsernameit actually does kind of make sense. Bullets are really fast and small with low temperature, the faster something is the the more drag. Also the smaller (mass) something is the more that it is decelerated by said drag. And I think the main point is that burning objects aren’t really falling through water like you think. If it’s hot enough it will instantly boil the water close to it basically forming a layer of bubbles around it, effectively turning the medium it’s falling through from a thick liquid like water straight into gas. Also just because you can be cooled quickly doesn’t mean a burn won’t burn you? An ice pack won’t magically heal a 3rd degree burn, that’s not how it works.
@@SenselessUsername I've tested this multiple times; most fireworks like bottle-rockets and roman candles don't even pierce the surface of the water.
@@SenselessUsername bullets aren't self-propelled; the instant they leave the barrel they're decelerating. A firework has an "engine" behind it for the length of the burn (think about how you can see the trail, then they "disappear" for a few moments before they pop. The visible period they're still accelerating, the invisible period they're coasting on momentum). So, in theory a firework has a period where, once they hit the water, the rocket is still pushing it for as long as the burn time. A bullet is just copping pure friction.
In reality, though, absolute bullshit obviously.
@@Taurusus Most fireworks are NOT rockets and do not have propulsion.
I’d honestly love to see a CG Hall of Fame special from you guys. Induct like 20 of the best CG shots from the 80s and 90s as the first class.
Best and worst series/movie top 20 walk through
Please do a deep dive on the wizard of Oz and why this was one of the most crazy movies ever to be made. Or maybe just you can make a more general movie about how movies used to be made in the '20s all the way through the '60s before CGI actually made things safer.
Definitely. I was really happy to see them highlight some Golden Age Hollywood. I'd love it if they explored more films from that era, there are so many great ones.
"Gone With the Wind" in particular has some really beautiful process shots, such as Scarlett's "I'll never be hungry again" speech.
The British William Cameron Menzies' film "Things To Come" has really interesting special effects shots that would be cool for Corridor to look at. Or Michael Powell's "A Matter of Life and Death".
There's a shot in Howard Hawks' "Sgt. York" where Gary Cooper is reciting scripture on top of a big hill, and the camera pulls back real wide, and there are all kinds of interesting special effects techniques being used to tie it all together.
I'd just love to see more talk about pre-"Jaws" cinema on RUclips in general.
You can see the smoke coming up before the Witch gets in place. I think they triggered the sequence too soon, leading to the actress getting burned.
But yeah, there's a lot of urban legends about this movie. Supposedly, you can see a munchkin hang himself in the background of one shot. I got to see this movie on the big screen once, and the "hanging" you could see on a blurry VHS copy turned out to be just some weird mechanical bird in the far background.
@@jasontankable Not a mechanical bird. A real live bird on loan from the Los Angeles Zoo.
@@mcnultyssobercompanion6372 I just watched Gone With The Wind the other day, and I could not figure out how they did that shot and the return to Tara shot at the very end of the film, so I would love for them to cover it.
I highly recommend listening to what went wrong podcast about it
I’m very surprised haven’t done a comparison between Ghost Rider 1 and 2 yet. It’s a huge step up
When the dump truck hits the ambulance, it cuts the the aerial shot, the dump truck was not driving anywhere. It would have drove directly into the water! So hilarious.
Yeah it was going so fast, and the river was right in front of it in the wide shot 😅
And if she didn't stop him, he would still be alive
@@hamzaraza52 very true!
@@alexp601 I bust up laughing in the theater when I saw that!
when the dump truck popped the chunks
also, fun fact: the twister in the wizard of oz is actually a 35′ muslin stocking and they wrapped it around chicken wire to make it look like a funnel.
Believe it or not, they actually covered that tornado in a previous episode… they really HAVE covered an insane amount of awesome effects from across time
Bro the blinding scene with Sam's explanation was hilarious 😂
Yeah with him pointing out that they could have just blinded her above water and had it be plausible but instead wait till she goes underwater to hit her in the face with a firework, it's bonkers!
and all the shots from inside the meeting room 😂😂😂
Now that the Time Bandits TV show is out, it would be a good idea to look at some of the effects in the original movie. I know director Terry Gilliam has talked about how hard the time portal door effect was to do with the time's technology, and other effects are amazingly simple yet incredibly effective. For a shot when one of the bandits swings up to a ledge and grabs onto it, they just filmed it backwards with a dummy with its hands attached. When they pulled it, the hands detached and when you reversed the footage, it looks like the dummy is lifting up its arms to grab on.
That Logan fan film looks incredible - we literally had Hollywood productions 15 years ago with similar levels of production value and visuals. I'd say maybe the most amazing thing about movie making today is what can be achieved by a talented team of people working on a very tight budget.
I missed that it was a fanfilm until the end of their discussion. That thing looked *incredible*.
The only thing I can nitpick about the fan film is the claws should've been bone instead if metal. Other than that, it was fantastic.
@@atari303 That's what I was thinking, unless there's some adamantium magical backstory we don't know about. Could be a cool fan spinoff.
It's crazy how there's some incredible production quality and creativity put into modern fan films and indie films. Then on the other hand, the big budget studio films keep putting out soulless remakes and sequels that have terrible writing, and overworked crews.
It's a similar situation in the gaming industry. The big budget Triple A studios are afraid to innovate so they make remakes and sequels. The worst part about this is that the game Devs are overworked and pushed by executives to release these games by certain dates they end up releasing in an unfinished state so nobody ever plays these games until they're fixed but by then, gamers have lost interest in the game and faith in the studio.
Contrast that with indie developers who take their time and pour a tonne of creativity and soul into their projects that by the time the game comes out, it's a huge hit.
I'm annoyed I'd never seen it before. That and, like, Ryan vs Dorkman 2 demonstrate that you REALLY don't need a huge budget to have a super entertaining effects heavy fight.
Makes all the mediocre fight scenes in 100 million dollar+ American movies even worse in comparison.
That CG fleshy head in Deep Rising is actually INSANE. When it first popped up I was convinced they had some real puppet thing that they were somehow motion matching. I'm still in shock that this is CG. It's honestly more realistic than any film CG I've seen to date and they were doing it with such extremely limited tools back then. This is like someone building a modern Formula 1 car back when the Model T was invented lol.
BRM V-16 has entered the chat
Yeah, I'm still having a hard time believing that isn't a partially practical effect. Since CGI animation took off, smooth motion seems to be one of the main goals, even if they have to disregard inertia. That jitteriness looks SO much like a puppets movements.
@@cdbsk76 Hearing how they've used puppets as a reference to a CGI animation, I can bet the head scene had a similar reference filmed.
not only was the actress burned in the Wizard of Oz fireball, but her stunt double was also burned in the sky writing scene because she sat on the exhaust pipe, so they both got burned in the film, one of many on-set injuries for the movie
I believe the witch's green makeup was copper based, so they had to remove it all with alcohol really quickly. Imagine a bunch of people rubbing alcohol into your burned flesh. Margaret Hamilton felt like she couldn't quit the movie because she would get blackballed, but she refused to do any more dangerous stunts, saying "You've had all the chances you're going to get with this girl."
If you watch an OSHA workplace safety video and wizard of oz at the same time, they sync up perfectly
The snow later on was pure asbestos
Lost in Space movie (1998) vs Netflix’s Lost in Space I think would make a solid episode
Featuring the coolest impractical unfolding helmet and a ton of bad acting and 90s edge!
Oh yeah, me three on that being a solid episode. 💯
There’s a special credit for the “Half-digested Eddie” artist(s) in the Deep Rising end titles.
I've been wanting to see Deep Rising on here since I finished watching the first episode of VFX Artists React on the day it was posted. Thank you for FINALLY giving it the credit it deserves!!!!
that animation work is legitimately incredible.
Glad to finally see Deep Rising get some love! The cast performances, the script, special effects and the overall fun levels are 10\10.
The half digested mercenary shot hit like a tonne of bricks after watching everything unfold up to that point. That scene unified the different groups through a shared enemy that was simply WAY worse than anyone on that ship could be.
Fun fact: The creatures were based on a real prehistoric species that falls under the Ottoia group.
Deep Rising is one of my favorite "bad" movies. It's just so much fun to watch.
@@EarendilgreyThat's because it's not bad, just a bit cheesy
@@jamstonjulian6947 It has the perfect level of cheese. Just like The Mummy.
sad we never got a sequel with that huge cliffhanger ending.
I was legit getting queasy while watching it, that's how you know the CGI has held up. Bad idea to be eating dinner when this movie came on screen haha
Those two shots from The Wizard of Oz aren't even the worst of what happened on the set. You should have someone join you on the couch to discuss JUST how bad it was.
Hey I know the CGI artist for this movie! He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died.
When you said Amazon, my initial thought was that you meant an Amazon store lol.
I understood that reference.
You guys NEED to do a series on the "CG Hall of Fame." It would probably have a lot of rehash stuff from the React series, but it would be great to have it all in one place.
Margaret Hamilton was burned when the second take went wrong. The first take is what you see in the movie. Understandably she refused to work with such fire when she was healed and returned, which is why when she vanishes from the Tin Woodman house, it's just the red smoke.
I just want to see an entire episode dedicated to the craziness that was the filming of Wizard of Oz. Maybe even throw in some reactions to the nightmare fuel that was Return to Oz. Heck throw in The Wiz too lol.
I think one of the dirtiest things about Madame Web is that both her agency and Sony kept Dakota Johnson in the dark about who's movie it was, so she signed on thinking it was gonna be a proper MCU movie and not a 'MCU ordered from Wish' Sony movie. That's just a whole other level of dirty imho.
That’s genuinely just asshole behaviour, that sucks big time.
I saw the movie out of curiosity and obligations. I feel bad for her. This is one of those cases where you can see the bottleneck was in one spot. In this case, it's the story. Whoever caused it to become this needs to be fired.
Hindsight, this could have been saved if they changed it so that him chasing the girls accidentally infects them, then the climax can be them developing their powers as they accept being heroes. As it is, they just form a hero team as normals trying to become the heroes they are in the future. But they don't know how or when that happens.
@@bryanwoods3373 ive never seen anyone suggest that he accidently infects them himself and that would have been such a smart tie in to the whole theme of being unable to outrun fate by him causing his own downfall in a more meaningful way. shame the writers arent that smart
@@bryanwoods3373so I actually enjoyed the movie but that would have been a huge improvement.
@spiderbug7615 Yeah. They were already on that course since the only reason he's after them is because of the visions. None of them had a reason to go after him or even actually knew each other until he brought them together. They also could have done more to show this was the will of the Web of Life and Destiny. Then build up Madame Webb as its caretaker.
I hope the CG Hall of Fame bit does stick around and they keep track of all the scenes that make it in.
Love how the neon sign sinking in the water, is still lit.
Yeah, the people making this shit have literally no idea how anything works, I can’t think of one thing they got right
@Boostiverse
sounds like you need CPR bro
I like how Madam Web was so bad they kind of forgot to talk about the CGI.
That's how you get away with bad CGI, make your story so distractingly bad audiences will be laughing so hard they'll miss the poor renders through the tears
Okay, "once you pop, the fun stops" is WILD 🤣🤣🤣🤣
CG Hall of Fame what a great idea! What else to include?
-Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, the Beckett scene where he get's absolutely scrapnelled while walking down the stairs?
-Lord of War the bullet intro?
I love "Deep Rising"! RIP Treat Williams.
Yeah, it's great! Snappy script. So underrated it doesn't even appear on "underrated scifi/horror film" lists.
The fact that they spent the 1st 3 minutes juat laughing at the story rather than analyzing the VFX tells you something about this movie.
Madame Web Is the funniest movie I've seen since Tropic Thunder
Tropic Thunder is very self-aware of what it is. This is funny when it's not even trying to be.
@@crimsonghoul8983 like The Room, Samurai Cop, Miami Vice etc.
Add another one to the list!
The difference is that Tropic Thunder is actually supposed to be funny
I remember falling in love with Special FX and VFX when I saw Deep Rising on a little show called Movie Magic. So glad you finally talked about it
Niko seems like a mafia boss with that slicked back hair

Niko is mafia lord of LA nerds 🎉🎉🎉
NIKO!!!! COUSIN!!! Wanna go bowling?
Love that you covered Deep Rising - one of my favourite films, so much fun - RIP Treat Williams.
Please do react to "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". Lots of robots, spaceships, time travel, gravitonium, Inhumans and of course more importantly Ghost Rider, Lola etc.
It's got quite some stuff to get its own episode.
I feel like they have at some point. I think I remember them reacting to the big weird rock I don't remember the name of turning into liquid.
@@bingo5387 The Monolith? When did they do that? I'm pretty sure they didn't
@@The_Orgin I could be wrong, I just remember seeing that scene in a video a while back and I can't think of anything else it could have been other than one of their react videos. Might have been something else though.
@@bingo5387 Maybe they put a clip of that in the background when they were explaining something. They haven't done a react to the VFX in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. that's for sure. I really hope they do it
They reacted to something else then used the "people falling apart" effect as an illustration of that.
I know cause that episode of VFX artists react was why I started watching Agents of Shield in the first place ^^
Deep Rising is one of my most favourite underrated movie of all time.
The music, the corny story, the corny characters, and that cgi is amazing for its time.
Welcome to Deep Rising boys, enjoy the wild ride and watch it!
I was literally in tears because I was laughing so hard during the extended cut
So happy that Deep Rising got a mention and analysis. The end leaves it open for a sequel too......which I've been hoping for since it came out. I regularly watch it on DVD.
I remember this shot from Deep Rising being the first time I was disturbed by a scene in a movie.
This trio I could watch everyday… hilarious
Yes at last! Deep Rising!
One of my favourite films.
I have been defending it for years.
I commented about the Viking wolverine clip, and really was not expecting it to ever get brought up. I am sure others did as well but it felt awesome to see you guys react to something I recommended!!! On that note legendary Jay is a guy I've seen a ton of clips from, he does like anime stylized irl clips, the editing is super cool
Yes CG hall of fame! Could be a new series/part of the series where you revisit some of the best shots of all time and break them down or have the person/people who did them on the show.
It should have the T-Rex in the rain scene from Jurassic Park in the #1 spot. That movie is from 1993 and that scene still looks better than most CG today. Totally convincing.
Hey guys, thanks so much for bringing another wonderful episode! This is from a Chinese fan. I really hope you would review this film called The Wandering Earth 2 from 2023. It is considered by some as the peak of Chinese sci-fi cinematography to date. The scene I’d recommend is the Space Elevator launch from minute 13, or the opening credit about Planetary Engine from minute 4.
This film has a lot of cool shots, so I hope you enjoy it, and include it in another episode of Artists React😁
So happy you guys talked about deep rising. That’s one of my favourite movies from the 90s and I think it’s totally underrated. Also has one of the best endings and I always hoped for a sequel.
Now, What?!
The CPR genuinely killed me. I was wheezing and crying I was laughing so hard. The added blood spurts almost ended me!
I have a movie suggestion for you guys, Mad God by the studio of legendary effects supervisor Phil Tippett of Star Wars and Jurassic Park fame. Originally started over 30 years ago as a passion project, this movie is a stop motion, miniatures and practical effects magnum opus with very little CGI on show. It is gory, gruesome and nightmare inducing depicting a very literal descent into madness. There is so much in this movie to react to you could easily do a whole video dedicated to it (possibly more).
30 years it took
THE DARK LIGHTING MAKES HELPS THE TENTACLES THING SEEM MORE CONVINCING, ESPECIALLY FOR ITS TIME.
That CPR scene and most of that movie (Ma Dam Web) was filmed here in Boston and right down the street from me at Black Falcon Pier.
"Ma Dam"
Yes!! I've been requesting Deep Rising for a long time! So glad to see you react to it. Well deserved clip for the CGI Hall of Fame! Half-digested Billy was by Blur Studio/David Stinnett, Tim Montijo and Greg Tsadilas. Part of the reason it looks so great (aside from the immaculate tracking), is that they were matching it with the incredible make-up special FX of Rob Bottin.
So glad you guys covered Logan the wolf fan film. That popped up on my feed minutes after upload and was an amazing surprise.
Damn, taking stop motion animation into CGI is such a cool idea and it looks amazing!
Deep Rising was the Tremors of the sea and just hilarious + awesome :)
The ilustraction added on the board at 5:00.. just pure genius who does that. :D
Love seeing Deep Rising get some love. A hidden gem that more people need to discover.
Yes! Thank you for reacting to DEEP RISING. I've been recommending that one to you guys forever! I knew you would love it.
the "Deep Rising" creature reminds me of the monster from "The Mist". It struggles fro the same problems they discussed from that movie where there is no ambient acclusion.
You guys should totally watch Witches of Eastwick. Crazy movie with amazing effects and a great cast!
No way the melted man is CGI! It must be mostly practical effects... Please do a breakdown on that scene🙏🏾🙏🏾. I mean, it looks so goddamn good. I'm really surprised that was a 90s movie... it has better effects than Madame Web😅. Greetings from CDMX✌🏽
It's a mix of CG and practical. I worked on the makeup side of that effect, applying blisters and sores to the actor. We had a sculpted bust for reference which I believe was a copy of the one used to create the CG element. Our work was overseen by Stephan Dupuis and Rob Bottin. The VFX side must have been exceptionally complex as I believe the cg elements were hand tracked onto the plate footage.
@@rotcorpasome, thanks for the curious fact, it really an good job because it looks suepr real, better than a lot of the cgi now a days
Logan the wolf looked incredible! I am absolutely going to watch it next!
You FINALLY checked out Logan The Wolf. That fan film is the best of the best so far. I love it. The action, the cgi, the acting, everything in that movie is great.
I loved Deep Rising as a kid. Altho it was one of my first experiences with "the cliffhanger ending to set up the sequel that never comes" movies.
As Alien Romulus is coming out next month you should check out Alien vs Predator (2004), great CG and practical elements combined, the ending battle with the alien queen has one shot that should definitely be looked at with what looks like a CG character interacting with practical set elements colliding.
The 3-shot PIP with yellow border is vexing!
That deep rising melted body is crazy for being 30 years old
The meteor impact scene in Deep Impact has a really interesting mix of shots that hold up really well vs shots who's ambitions were limited by the time.
32 seconds ago? Always feels good to catch it early
8:00 I thought that shot from deep was some special FX with some crazy animatronics .wow that worked deserves hall of frame title
Not only a double of Dorothy but Toto too!
5:20 slow it all the way down and use the space bar to skip ahead one at a time. It maybe hits her left eye, but only the left. I can even tell at full speed! Actually looking back again it goes to the side of her eye, it wouldn't have hit, maybe a few small sparks coming off could have, but it really missed. Oh, man, even when it hits, the hit effect is placed on her shoulder, not her face!
Another fact about Wizard of Oz, they've used Asbestos as fake snow
another fun fact, the lion costume was real lion.
11:57 Wait, Didn't we do this before?
I remember you explaining this here.
I believe they did. You're not alone.
Same
A first for CC, but it recently came up on another channel. I can't remember who.
Really cool to see Deep Rising come up on the couch. That movie scared the pants off of me as a kid 'cuz it looked so real, especially the half-melted guy. Good to know these guys agree with little 6 yo me.
It absolutely did not scarred me as a kid and the guy absolutely did not look 100% photorealistic through the lens of shitty quality of an VHS tape and our dingy TV set.
@@DarthBiomech Okay.
Little note: Margaret Hamilton was burned on the second take of her disappearing scene. That's why we have the slightly flubbed first take in the film.
You should look at The Quick and The Dead, the scene where Leonardo DiCaprio gets shot. They do a camera effect that's hilarious, unique, possibly practical and extremely nauseating to watch.
I'm glad to see "Deep Rising" finally getting a spot! I remember being scared sh*tless by that movie back in the day, especially by the 'half digested' guy. It's nice to see that, even 25 years later, that effect still works so well 👍
Makes Velocipastor & Morbius look like they deserve Oscars
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
honestly, if there was an oscar category for parodies I would nominate Velocipastor. At least that movie knows exactly what it is
Deep Rising blew me away as a kid, I simply could not believe that such a good movie could even exist. And for some reason I seemed to be the only person knowing about it.
_Corridor Crew:_ What about checking out *“The Little Shop of Horrors”* from 1986? A movie about a meat eating plant from outer space with 100% practical effects that begets at least me. And if not for that? Just see if for Rick Moranis, Steve Martin, John Candy, Ellen Greene and Bill Murray!
What a gang! Can’t get enough of it!! 😅🌱👍
I had a dvd of Deep Rising when I was a kid. Watched it a bunch of times. So glad it made it to the couch.
You should react to dr who...
Agreed!
Who's doctor Who?
@user-tj3to6ps9t the longest running sci-fi show in history
The shot at the end looks like a practical model. They made full size models like that for terminator etc so it's possible 😊
As a 13 year nurse, I have not done CPR in my career as much as is done in this movie
In this movie it's an universal treatment to anything apparently. Got a headache, just do CPR :p
I'm glad to see Golden Age Hollywood getting some love.
CGI hall of fame by decade would go so well as a series
OMG that tentacle movie is the source of my nightmares and fobias from my childhood! I haven't seen that until now since then!
Best episode so far
bruh
Love love LOOOOOOVE Poppy Chunks... went to high school with her. Great chick. Glad to see she's finally getting the recognition she deserves.
I lol'ed harder than I should have at the brainstorming diagram for making her blind.
YES DEEP RISING! I have been waiting for y'all to look at this 90's classic monster movie!!!!!!!
Logan, the Wolf really should have had bone claws.
yeah right - that was the first thing that came to my mind when I watched it
Apparently they are bone, they're just sharpened.
I recommended Deep Rising under a video a few months ago I'm glad you guys reviewed it 👍🏻🙌🏼 love the show!
Favorite channel
The movie Pleasantville (1998) also has some great color/black and white effects
The Wolverine clip has one major error: Wolverine's claws should have been bone, not adamantium. Wolverine only got adamantium claws when he was infused with it by the the military in modern times. Back in the Viking days, his claws (and his entire skeleton) would have been bone.
They are bone- polished bone claws
100% in support of a Corridor Hall of Fame for shots that deserve it. I hope y’all do that!
