- Hades 2 Early Access is HERE and I am loving it! The music, once again, is absolutely wonderful! :D Darren Korb absolutely cooked with this soundtrack and Coral Crown is one of my favorites! I hope y'all enjoy the drums!

Whatever the Hades 2 variant of Extreme Measures is just adds Jared to the field as a second drummer.
aside from the regular attacks he throws drumsticks while yelling "BUTTER FINGERS"
If I had to guess, either we’ll see everyone be the “featured artist” or we’ll get a whole new song that will be even more chaotic than this one.
I’m just imagine a “chorus” group of shades/baddies that get summoned.
I think Hades 2 Extreme Measures will :
- Add a phase 2 on Hecate where she doesnt hold back anymore
- Odysseus will join the fight siding with Scylla
- I dont know how they will extreme measure Cerberus, maybe a shorter map like Lernie
- Chronos will have 3 phases ( but i think we will "unlock" the third phase when we use the Dissolution of Time)
I still think we're gonna get the bass player as the EM2 version.

I was so amazed with this boss as a concept. The sirens being a punk band was genius. To have them sing their own boss theme was perfecto.

Considering the drummer's the one triggering all the AoE effects in the fight, you've just put a target on your back.
She is triggering all the aoe but she cant move ( I easily abuse especially with sister blades and their backstab 🤭🤭 )
@@adam622500 She dont have any defensive mechanics either (Scilla is invincible from the back because of shell, and guitar siren is diving into water from time to time, to appear at other side of the arena)

Vocals done by Erin Yvette, aka Snow White from The Wolf Among Us, Judy Alice Smith, same VA as Melinoë, and Ashley Barrett. This song, and a certain diss track in this game, are absolute peaks from Mr Korb himself.
I wouldn't be surprised if that other song shows up on here soon.

I've seen a few people saying that Erin Yvette is Melinoe, but according to the wiki, she voices Dora, while Melinoe is voiced by Judy Alice Lee.
Also voices Ayre in Armored Core 6, which i thought was awesome lol.

When Roxy gets the short end of the stick by being stationary, and the one triggering pretty much all of the AoE attacks. Ergo, I usually target her first.

The siren music, the mechanical theming, and a music boss where your actions affect the song honestly makes Oceanus one of my favorite themed stages in a video game.
It would be mine too if the enemies didn’t suck to deal with when you have a build with low range and health. 🥲 But yeah it’s really cool how they can have an almost strampunk aesthetic work in an Ancient Greece setting. Very good environment design

i love that as you get closer to the boss stage in oceanus, their singing gets louder and clearer

I want to play Hades 2 because of the soundtrack so bad!
But also want to let it cook before I play it. Man the struggle
I can tell you that the game is mostly complete. It seems we are missing one biome but you can already fight Chronos. This is different from the hades 1 early access where we started woth only the first two biomes. You can certainly see some assets that are work in progress but if you don't mind it, this is basically the full game.

Would make sense, since you go through 4 biomes for the Chronos route. I wonder what the next 2 would be for the Olympus route though… One definitely has to be Olympus itself, but I feel like there may be something before that, like climbing up the mountain to it, saying as you start the ascent at the Eris beach.

I do wonder how much of it is taking inspiration from Greek mythology (which I believe is what the game is mostly themed around? I may be mistaken on this)
@@retrowolf6482 yeah the game is based on Greek mythology, so he themed his songs around that for this game (and Hades). especially for Hades he used the unusual-for-western music 7/8 and 9/8 measures, lots of instruments from that geography, including the turkish saz, added theremin for that otherworldly feel, and of course lots of heavy metal because it's about hell.
for Hades II the tracks are more electronic and mystical because melinoe (the protagonist for this game) is younger and she's a witch. lots of references to the previous soundtrack though, where it thematically makes sense.
But if you listen to Bastion, Transistor and Pyre OSTs they're quite different styles (but of course thematically consistent with their respective games)

Been getting into Hades since last week as a treat for completing this college semester. Immediately hooked and glad I got the game when it was on sale. And now these songs from Hades II? It’s like I’m listening to the Hex Girls from my childhood days. Once I am done with Hades I, I will definitely get into the second. It be a gem man, it be a gem.
