Sooo idea for your scratchier yarns, if you still want to make a blaket, you can line the wrong side of it with fleese or a thin quilt. So that you can have the crochet design on the front, and a soft blanket on the back. its extra work but imo it maoes it extra cozy ~~

I like the bright colors so Holly Berry is my favorite. Instead of calling it gray, think of it as sliver. I like the blue and silver yarn too.

Loved all the yarns. I have 4 daughters and each have different taste. I could see tree skirts for each of them.❤ to you both.
I have had an adi for some time. Made hundreds of hats to give away to the homeless in the Autumn. It’s great fun, also makes quick easy narrow scarves and lots of tubes stitched together make a cosy soft blanket especially if you fill them loosely with fibre filling.. love the first your you shared, the dickensian shaded one is my fav. ❤️

I loved all the colors of the Herrschners Christmas yarns, but I think the brighter green/red/white was my favorite. I did like the blue with the gray and white as well.

My favorite is the Victorian color also, my cart is pretty full already lol 😁😆, I do like the blues with the gray Cody, I think some little crochet ornaments would be really nice with ANY of these yarns ❤
I love the vintage green/red in the holiday sparkle. The holiday lights are pretty colors too. I would use it for a tree skirt or ornaments. With the sparkle I think the tree lights would make it sparkle and look awesome.

I do like the blue/grey and white yarn. It looks frosty and wintery. ( the Victorian one is also gorgeous) totally for different projects.
I love the Sweet Tinsle.
I started weaving a couple years ago, and the cheaper yarns, that are just tool rough to be used alone, can be used as either the warp or weft and a softer yarn then as the weft or warp. It makes a scarf wearable, but does require learning another craft (and buying the loom, etc). A woven piece, done this way, has every stitch surrounded by the other yarn and really does minimize the scratchiness. BTW, I love that Holiday Elegance!
I think most scratchy yarns will soften up with a bit of softener in the wash. Roll With it Melange is like that…very scratchy when crocheting it, but when washed it turns nice and soft, and now it’s my favorite afghan
