Broadway, a village often described as the ‘Jewel of The Cotswolds’.
The Christmas lights in Broadway make the village one of the most magical places to experience Christmas in the Cotswolds.
Fairy lights line the high street with beautiful festive shop window displays, the village transforms into a wonderful, traditional Christmas scene.
Broadway is a great place to visit during the day time, but especially enchanting during the evening when all the Christmas lights have switched on.
The Broadway village gets into the spirit of the festive period by hosting many wonderful Christmas events and late night shopping.
Lygon Arms Hotel - jewel in the high street’s crown, is steeped in history. During the Civil War, Oliver Cromwell stayed a night before moving on to the Battle of Worcester.
The village is transformed every year into a beautiful winter wonderland as the red chestnut trees that line the High Street are illuminated by traditional fairy lights.
The lights, glowing against a backdrop of Georgian architecture, perfectly capture the timeless image of a classic Dickens Christmas setting.
Christmas in Broadway is undoubtedly one of the most magical things you'll experience in the Cotswolds.

Broadway is a large village and civil parish in the Cotswolds, England, with a population of 2,540 at the 2011 census. It is in the far southeast of Worcestershire, close to the Gloucestershire border, midway between Evesham and Moreton-in-Marsh. It is sometimes referred to as the "Jewel of the Cotswolds". -- Wikipedia
The Cotswolds covers a huge area - almost 800 square miles - and runs through five counties (Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire).
