I have that bike. I don't think it's overpriced. The quality is excellent. Lots of e-bikes cost more than 2000 euros. The steep hills are not a problem: just stop pedaling and it will downshift so it becomes easier. Anyway if you have good legs, you can still climb the hill in gear 2, at over 20kmph (which would be impossible with a regular bike). Yes the saddle is a bit hard, but I regularly ride 15km without discomfort.
You guys are being way too harsh. Features like a seat tube battery and folding pedals are found on plenty of bikes. Just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean you have to bash the whole thing. This really doesn't qualify as a fair review.
Can you tell if there are magnets joining the 2 wheels when folded and how easy it is to roll the bike folded (hence the question about the magnets, which keeps the whole thing more stable and "united")? Thanks

Nice review, I think you have convinced me to just get a non electric Brompton! 😊
Weight (with fenders & rack) is actually 21kg. Weighed by another review site and an email from ADO.
Why are you riding with the saddle so low?
If weight is an issue for you, I would opt for the ADO Air 20 Carbon 😇

Nice review but not a bike for me.
