Esthetician/makeup artist here. I totally agree with the fact that your makeup will only look as good as the skincare underneath. For you dry skin gals, make sure you exfoliate at least twice a week and hydrate hydrate hydrate.

I have medium skin with red acne pitted scars and dark upper lip and dark under eyes and a little texture all over and some small pimples on my chin area. I have dry and oil skin. lately idk why when I apply foundation then set with powder idk why my skin is patchy its like u can see a bit of separation. omg please help sis

I like the ABH concealer and the tip to wait a bit before blending, I never used to do that but since I started doing it, I get better coverage and can use less

I always wanted to use a gripping primer like E.L.F power grip to keep my makeup on at the gym, but also a blurring/silicone primer like E.LF putty primer at the same time. I never knew if using both would work! Thanks for the info

I remember u doing that contour under lip thing with eyebrow pomade. I copied u and still do but I don’t use eyebrow pomade anymore, I use a bit of cream contour and powder, so thanks for the tip! Xx

16:03 omg I've never seen anyone do this but it's my daily routine! I have lots of acne scars but hate the look of heavy foundation, so I use a sort of skin tint and conceal spots with a tiny brush and a full coverage foundation. Literally looks like no makeup + perfect skin

One thing that has always confused me... which I definitely should know and I assume everyone else does 😅 but when people do a second or third coat of mascara on, are they applying it to wet lashes or letting it dry in-between 🤔
I can't speak for anyone else or if this right but I wait until the last coat is nearly dry then apply the next coat

Do not let your lashes dry all the way in between! I always wait a minute or 2 and then do another coat while it’s still wet. It layers a lot better that way.
It layer’s better when wet still because dry it can get to hard and any more will simply sit on top without blending to your lashes, so leave it a mo then go in again while damp still, especially when using waterproof mascara!
