The 1974 BMW R90S

We purchased this matching-numbers R90S in July 2019, and have since logged 600 miles.
The bike was refreshed under the previous owner, and the work is about 4 years old. The paintwork is stunning!

A bit late to the party, but it sounds like your crankcase breather valve needs replacing, sort of gobbling sound.. check you rhs carb to see if much oil is passing through.

I miss my 74 R90s, I put 140k on the clock, had some transmission trouble but that's all

Thanks for the video. It's a well preserved bike. I have a '78 R100s with the 40mm Bing carbs. Your bike sounds like it has a little quicker throttle response than my bike. Maybe it's the different carbs.

Thanks Todd. Maybe? This has the Dell’Ortos that came with the R90S models. And in this video they were pretty freshly rebuilt.
