Honestly, a separate toilet, appliances, nice storage and separate-ish bedroom, folding table, internet AND maintenance fee? This is my DREAM APARTMENT TBH
Japan seems like such a beautiful Country. I know the culture is full of blessings. People are kind and older people are revered. I live in New York City, and to see how clean Japan is always warms my heart. One day, I hope to visit this amazing place. Thank you for the video!
I lived in 2 Leo Palace apartments in Yokohama and Kamakura from 2005-2010. The first was in an older building, and it had a similar kitchen. The toilet was with the sink and tub, though. I had a loft, but terrible air circulation up there. My second Leo Palace was pretty modern and quite similar to this one, but less storage, and the bed was in a loft. I miss living in both of them. The first because it was my first apartment in Japan, and the second because I lived in an amazing area. I lived in a much larger apartment from 2010-2016 with my wife and daughter. Now that place I miss so much!
wow, you have a nice apartment, for me being disable i can under stand this video, very easy, i will be moving to the Kyoto area in the near future... :)
Overall, I like this apartment. I would have a problem with the elevated platform bed, but I suppose I could get used to it. I'd sacrifice some storage for a lower bed.
The apt itself is nice & clean but sooooo tiny and no windows to see outside. I'm claustrophobic and this would not do. I think it works for younger people who don't have all the things accumulated over time and are not used to have lots of space to move around in, dance in, twirl in, host a big party in, etc. If you can handle it ... enjoy!! Lol
Hi...thank you for the apartment tour, its really beautiful. BTW can you please tell where is this place in Japan? Is it Hamamatsu? Since I am moving to Japan soon, I wanted to know about the apartments. Thank you for the video.:)
My pleasure! This is in Ako City in Hyogo. Unfortunately it's kinda far from Hamamatsu. But most 1K Leopalace apartment are similar to this..atleast in my area. Anyway, I'm pretty sure there are beautiful apartments in Hamamatsu too. So good luck to your moving in Japan. 😃
Oh, the big trash can is outside the apartment building. It was not shown in the video. I put the trash can under the sink and throw it to the big one before the collection day.
I'm not sure if there's a switch for that but I think that as long as you have the gas installed, you can use hot water anytime. You just have to turn the faucet on for hot water.
In my case, I went to a Leopalace office (in Okayama City). There, an agent helped me find an apartment that I like. I also tried going to their website Leopalace21 and made a reservation of an apartment. Then, they called me and asked when I was available so they could show me the unit and discussed the contract.
Hi, Say you rent the apartment, do you have to put in like 1 year in advanced rent ? And do you know how much a bigger apartment would cost, like double the size but still 1 bedroom apartment ? Thanks !
Hello! In my case, I paid a month in advance and a key money (somewhat like a money gift for the owner of the apartment which is like a month's rent too). Usually that's how it works.
To answer your second question, it usually costs around ¥60,000 for an apartment double this size in the suburbs or countryside and it would probably cost higher in bigger cities.
@@chibinena thanks for answering my questions. So it's about $600, which is not bad if they got good paid for the job hihi... I'm asking because I have a cat, and I'm hoping to have a job offered in Japan next year. The cat needs some space, you know hihi...
Hello! At first I thought the kevo that you mentioned was about a home security lock but I found out that there's a youtuber named kevo (who I think you're referring to) that did a video of his apartment that's the same with this 😅 So to answer your question, no I don't live with kevo.
Probably depends on which city you are living. If you're living in Major cities , then more space = expensive. If you're not in a major city it's cheaper.

Very nice and wise use of colonizing space.
Well you gotta make use of what little space you got 😀

What you said about Japan are true. 😀 They love cleanliness and their culture. Hope you can enjoy Japan in the future.
Very Nice Very Clean👍

I love this kind over the offer ones I’ve seen. I could live here
Wow, ¥43,000, I’m guessing that is per month, is a fantastic price for the space that you get there! Incredible!
Get a roomate, really good on the budget 👍🤔
I love this apartment ❣️
thanks for the vid. i would love to able to visit Japan someday
No problem! 😃

I'm glad 😊
Hope you'll have a wonderful time in Kyoto :)
That window is something special.
yeah😄
Never live on the ground floor. There is no fence. I had a peeper at my Tokyo apartment. Luckily there was a fence to keep him out.
Thanks for the advice! 😃

@@ej3016 Thanks ... Missed the ending! Great window!!
I love your apartment and your hands are so cute!
thank you 😀
When you 4 feet tall qnd weigh 110 lbs these apartrooms are spacious.
It surely is! I'm 4.6 and I can tell that it has enough room for me.😃

Go away and let us enjoy this lovely video
Wow this is very helpful!😍
Glad to hear that!
Thank you for the video
My pleasure! 😃
Very good video. Did you get this apartment or a similar one? What is your occupation to be living in Japan?
Thank you! I got this apartment and lived here for 9 months 😀 Right now, I live in another one under the same housing company.
Very nice. Would be useful when I move to Japan next year.
Good luck to your moving in Japan 😃

Nice 😀
Just a friendly lesson!! 🙂 never add an "s" to the word, "stuff" because it is already plural.
Thanks for clarifying that for me 😀

I live in San Diego right now and it's like $1,400 a month with roommates so this is like, dirt cheap 😭
Wow that's very expensive😮
my 1bd cost 3 times that much and is 3 times less cosy, wish the US had that style of Apartments..
I’m confused where u put trash can cause i’m not seeing one. And we know japanese has big trash bag. So where do u put it?

How to book the Leo palace apartment??

Hi, is the bad ok for 2 people? Or it's too small?
I think it's too small for 2 people.

How much does this Apartment cost?
It's around ¥43,000 inclusive of the internet.
Is the TV included?
Hello!
Yes, it's included.
Already i saw this house on author channel 🤗 . That channel name: kevo
Yeah I looked it up and watched his video. 😀 Thanks!

The area is very small, more like a prison cell. The equipment is excellent, but the price is very high.
The size of this is so depressing. Like a prison. I'm so thankful my family moved to America so I was born here. Japan is too tiny and crowded.
Probably depends on which city you are living. If you're living in Major cities , then more space = expensive. If you're not in a major city it's cheaper.
mahal po ba ang 43,000 yen?
kung sa mga standard Japanese apartment, normal price lang po sya (dito po sa city na tinitirhan ko).
Please show plumbing and dogs in vicinity for my sister bob.
