It was more about cleaning the surface a bit since it was a week after clear coating. I did pick up debris in the clay. If something was stuck on the top and I sanded it, could’ve scratched it with the sand paper. When paint correcting clear coat scratches, if something is stuck on top and you add the buffer, it can add swirl marks. Took all of 2 minutes to go over it.
@@BrandonBicasso yes its a ceramic coating similar to a clear coat after you polish. If you arent going to clear coat your paint you could at least throw on a ceramic coat and they are easy to apply! Seen alot of detailers do it after polishing.

Try m100 instead of m105. M100 has a longer work time and makes a lot less dust.

You don’t. I wanted to. If there was something stuck in the paint and you sanded that, could also scratch the paint more than the grit of the paper.
