- On this adventure I explored many different locations. The first site was an Old farm house that has been abandoned for about 30 years now. There was all kinds of bottles and trash laying on the ground, so I didn't find very much with my metal detector at this site. The next place I visited didn't produce very much either, But the last site was awesome!. I got permission to search 100 acres of woods that has a beautiful creek running through the property and lots of hills. At this site I discovered many unique things, which include an Old Rock- Lined well, several rock piles and a few relics with my AT Pro. +Owen McLaughlin For treasure hunters. Wells are a great find. They mean people lived nearby. The better built, the longer people were there. Which increases the chances of finding something good.
Plus wells themselves, are known to yield some great finds.

This young man travels around the world with the best of the best medal detecting men twice his age. All you nay sayers know nothing about him if you are bad mouthing him. He also is a kind, respectful, and respected religious person. If all young people were like him America would be a much better place.
Hey Bud, don't know if you read these. The piles of rocks are more than likely dumped there by the farmers so they could work the land easier with their ploughs. The red rock looks to be chert. Which is a ultra fine grained siliceuos rock that was once the sludge on the bottom of a deep stretch the sea. You usually find that rock type on accretionary wedges, which is where two bits of continent have collided and pushed up the rock and sediment in between, kind of like squishing a sandwich together and filling spills out.

I think that plant is what my mom called periwinkle. I remember seeing that in the woods by my house as a kid. Purple flowers if I remember right - that was 50 years ago. God bless! Love your upbeat attitude, it really makes your videos fun to watch.
