If you use threadlock, you must torque the bolt up straight away. If you torque it later, the thread lock will have set and the extra tightening will break the seal and render the threadlocker useless.
Do you not need to check the contact pattern of the crown wheel to pinion?
You didn’t set the lead in on the crown wheel or even check it.
Strangely relaxing video, lovely!
Nice Vid Rob. Just wish my midget had a powerful enough engine to justify an LSD!
Jerry Donnan you don’t need loads of power to make it worth while, especially with an ATB type, it would make a big difference to a stock midget 👍🏻
Another nice video, sounds a bit damp outside of the garage 😉
I used to know a guy who did LSD in his car too
.......like a ninja !I always get it on my hands - and if I wear gloves I get it up my sleeve ....
Is it raining today!
Whatever gave you that idea :P
Another interesting video, though I’m not sure I like the trippy new intro - I thought my eyes were going funny!
+Emma Jacobs gotta try these things! Im not Sure Im keen on it either.
Your title through me at first, I thought how are you gonna fit an MG Midget Quaife LSD in an Audi TT gearbox? lol.
+Project Supercar haha now would’nt that be a neat trick 😂
@@VisionAutoGarage Yep. ;)
Would this be a similar process to an mg b?
yes but do a proper job and check the backlash and contact pattern after the unit is assembled
its cheaper t weld it up and it handles better...but each to there own
if your implying converting it to a "locker" that would be illegal where i am and may result in jail time
