hola amigo yengo problema con mi md 4030... es asi: lo prendo y si le toco el plato con la mano suena, si le toco el cable con la mano suena! si le toco el cabezal suena!!! si lo muevo un poco suena!!!porqe sera?? qe problema puede tener? lo mire y desarme por todos lados ¿habra fuga de corriente?

no la verdad qe tendria qe probar con un plato nuevo qe no logro conseguir aun.
o empezar de cero con el desarmado y el armado.. así intentaré encontrarle la solucion . pero creo qe lo mejor seria una bobina nueva... quizas se salio el esmalte en algun tramo de la bobina... y ahi se produzca la fuga...

Hello! What ohm did you find it worked best at?

I used it in 0 ohm position, I did not find any difference 0 or 100 ohm for the beach. Instead of potentiometer you can install the switch in parallel to original resistor it will work also, when you short resistor with switch it will be search on the beach mode, otherwise search in the park mode. You should experiment. For different type of soil will be different ohm settings.

Yes thank you! I see that the Russians are making some attempts. My idea is for coins, bonus silver and gold ;) not iron. As you say, trial and error.
