Nice to see static defenses being used well, I think they're probably very underused. The higher tier defenses are crazy efficient if used properly, but I think there's still a role for cheap T1 stuff even late in the game, I've seen many situations in these casts where someone's built a ton of eco but they have absolutely nothing to deal with leaks, no AA, no walls or mines to restrict enemy movement, etc. the cost of putting that up would be trivial for them, but they ignore it and their entire base blows up while they're building their 16th AFUS.
Yeah I always see this in these higher tier games and the leaks drive me nuts. Like I get it can be costly at some points to put them down but the second I see the fronts breaking down or some annoying leaks happening more and more I still try to slap down something to stop them from obliterating my base completely uncontested. Also like said at some point you have plenty of eco, just put some defense down to spend all those resources you have plenty of.
A true gem replay. Static defenses are so rare in high rank players. Blue player was so efficient to: a) not losing units in start of game. b) Steroid speed in eco growth c) super efficient use of static defenses. Thanks @BrightWorksGaming :) i really enjoyed it....
Love watching these for lunch........ one day when i grow up (im 40) i wanna be able to play half as good as these guys :) thanks for the vid keep up the good work 😃
Not only did the blue team so massively win this in the end, I think they did almost all of their early-game scaling without any commander self-d. Still had 6 commanders for almost the entire game.
If there was a tutorial, it almost certainly wouldn't focus on playing 8v8 air. Part of being a high skill player should almost certainly be not leaving the second worst OS on your team last pick air position. It is hardly surprising a 12OS player who didn't want to be Air isn't any good at it.
Maybe some day, when the game isn't just barely more than an open beta That said; the game also has 27 years of history behind it. There is more than plenty of resources available for people who want to learn how to play.

100 percent agree you need some llt's during later game to deal with the pawn spam
its why i usually build llt near my mexes, leaks just happen to often for me to deal with, even if they get the mex at least some damage is done.

24:00 (minimap) Frames stepped up from his sloppy start, wp
Red Team certainly did put up a fight.
10 afus on frontline are devastating
I just played on a team with evolvedmonkey
When I watch these Videos, I really wish there would be a mandatory tutorial. When red or blue player tells you something maybe listen.
