I love Glenn... how many singers / musicians from the 70s & 80s have taken care of their voice and expanded their musical horizons? Not many and if their were any... Glenn could stand musically toe to toe with them!

What I take from this show is that Japan treats their musical stars with much more deference that we do here in America. The quick little demonstration of his vocal abilities quickly established why Glenn is the real thing, and not some wannabe. Glenn's latest band Black Country Communion is out there flirting with success, maybe he will be the comeback kid?
It sis strange, The kabuki/Kiss looking guy is singing Glenn's parts from the original song... and Glenn is singing David's parts...and wearing his hair, lol......great to see rare stuff like thes anyway!
On that time he's already quit the drug since 1991. And still maintain his superb quality on singing to this day. On the other hand, it was sad that David Coverdale. who, as far as I know never appears as drug user, Was now lost a lot of his voice due to his age.

They are regular band of this program.
Is that Hirokuni Korekata (The guy with ponytail) on guitar. But I know the keyboardist. He is Tadashi Namba who occasion work with Masahiro Andoh (T-Square) solo albums and briefly joined T-Square in 1998 :)
fiese friesin California Jam had a way better drummer and keyboardist, and The burning, thick chest voice of Mr. Coverdale, who can play and sign the blues, cover Zeppelin and Guns and Roses. There isn't a more versatile Rock and roll singer than coverdale that's so good at so many things. period.
