2. :50 is a light shield. It causes an odd momentum shift with yoshi 1:04 is a shield parry. Basically, you shield at the exact frame a move hits, the hit will miss The difference between :50 and 1:04 is how long the shield is held. If it is held a long time, Yoshi has momentum. If it is dropped instantly, there is 0 knockback The motion sensor bombs are the same thing, perfect light shielding Marth sheild breaker shows the same thing between holding the shield and taping it once.
1. 1st one is double jump cancel combos or DJC combos DJC is done by double jumping and then attacking. One of them might be a reverse DJC, but I am noi sure. 2nd one: The quick movement is Double Jump Lands. where the aerial is done too late and there is momentum out of it The movement out of it is a double jump cancel (without the aerial) into a waveland. Next in that 2nd portion is just normal wavelands ,but using the property of the jumps to cancel into them onto the platform.
3:03 is done by jumping onto the stage with a djc with a forward b and then you mash the direction the opposite way of the ledge. When it reverses, it gains momentum and kills at much lower percents (hence vs Jigglypuff later) 1st home run contest one shows that the edge of the platform cancels the reverse egg roll last one is the old 0 gravity glitch.
This video is supposed to showcase Fumi's technical skill, not combo ability in an actual match. That's why Melee combo videos are almost always in game matches. The combo's most people care about are the ones actually possible during a match against somebody who can DI. On the other hand, Smash64 combo videos are usually 'traditional' in that they're against a dummy. : X
3 1:45 is a perfect shield. It is just that if you perfect shield one hit, you auto perfect shield the other ones 2:20 is something known as parry counter. You need to parry as above and then attack (usually with a DJC but can be done with a quick enough smash) 2:43 is egg roll platform cancelling. I beleive it is done by double jumping into a forward b and then moving the control stick back and forth to allow the egg to stand still 3:03 is reverse egg drops. Discussed next comment.
xD how do you even come to the conclusion stating that fumi, the yoshi main, is one of the VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY few female smashers? xD where the hell did you get that from!?
Thanks Vyse!
