Hello everyone, a lot of you are still watching this show, which is amazing and I’m very grateful but just to let you know, I have a NEW show out now on this channel called Back From The Bed. Please like and share. Hope you enjoy. Lots of love, Seann
I'm very proud to mention that I was one of Seann's teachers (feels a bit odd to use the stage name) when he moved to Brighton from London. Until I saw this, I had no idea of what he had to deal with at home. He was such a lovely kid, extremely funny of course, he frequently cracked me up. This show proves that he's not a good comedian, he's a BRILLIANT comedian. A life story could very easily degenerate into a self indulgent cop out, as far as material is concerned. This performance unequivocally demonstrates otherwise - everything about it. Sean MUST keep going because there is every possibility that he'll be rediscovered, only to become a far bigger act than he was before 'that' show.
Mr Hill! It’s Seann! That’s so nice of you to leave that message! I don’t know if you know this but I had a DVD out many years ago called Seann To Be Wild and I thanked you in the credits! You’ll have to buy it now. Sorry!
me, a stranger in america seeing his act for the 1st time & i just commented the EXACT SAME THING. The perfect amount of self depreciation and relatability; Pure magic, what a Comedy Angel😇
I don't know if you'll read this Seann, but as a comic, I find the way you can talk about incredibly dark subject matter and still land a massive punchline incredibly inspiring. This is a really terrific hour of comedy.
This sounds like hyperbole. But I've thought about this for a while before putting it here, and honestly, I think this is one of the best hours of comedy I've seen in a long time.
I've been at the stage before where I've googled if certain things will kill you, I skirted around the issue and got as far as the samaritans warning before I started crying and shut my laptop, scared of how bad it was getting. For you to go further, find your answer and put things into action (albeit without the necessary tools!) is terrifying - but to have the resilience to bounce back and turn that tragedy to comedy is a gift you need to continue sharing with the world. I loved this
The Michael McIntyre impression is spot on! I remember when you first did it on Mock the Week and I couldn't believe how accurate it was. It's brave of you to be open and honest about your life as well.
Brilliantly funny, timing is spot on. The cliff hanger jokes always have a payback with a great finish. Thank you for uploading. The grumpy t***s in the audience with a face like thunder who refuse to laugh at any of the fantastic routine, you're not there to keep punishing Seann for his past mistakes, so lighten up
So great to see Seann back. Elements of Seann’s delivery here are SO reminiscent of Stuart Lee without the acerbic tone: the asides to the camera, the way he works the crowd. And other elements are nothing like it: the McIntyre impression, the intensely personal stories.
I remember what feels like a lifetime ago, You and I, sitting in the Pav Tav drinking cheap pints of Carlsberg with Blink 182 playing in the background on a Tuesday night with our lives ahead of us. Years later, life can throw all sorts of curveballs our way that at times can tests us but I thought this was a great piece of work that’s full of raw talent, captures the trials and tribulations we all go through ( in different ways ) and has a certain humanity in it that seems to be fading away from general humanity at times. I know you’ve had some shit thrown your way in the last few years and think I think through that suffering, you’ve created your best work. Great stuff Seann! ✌️
Just watched this after the latest HaW Patreon special (also hilarious btw, going in on Carl about the eclipse was 😆) - what an hour of stand up this is, absolutely superb. Crying with laughter and deep at same time. Seann your timing and punchlines are as good as I’ve seen!
This and Kiss are two of the best hours of comedy I've seen in a long time. It's incredible how you manage to take such a dark and turbulent time of your life and transform it into something like this.
All I can say is ......amazing!!! I've always loved Seann's comedy but over the last couple of years everything he has touched has turned to gold....from this show, to TV appearances and his work with the Have a Word team.....truly brilliant!!!
That was cool. I chuckled lots of times, but even more significantly, you really held my attention throughout, which is quite the feat for my adhd brain. Not sure why but you sort of reminded me of Billy Connolly here. Anyway, good to see you back Josh.
Absolutely loved this. The jokes, the storytelling, the tension, the surprises, the vulnerability. It was all so beautifully crafted. Thank you, Seann.
31:33 😂😂 That mask! Seann, I was sent here by your Geoff N pod recommend. I still can't fathom how the entire media and gen pop lost their ever loving minds over a kiss, demonising you in the process. Glad you've found joy, sanity, and plenty of laughs escaping from that madness and into a life with structure and love🙏🏻❤
Many great moments but one of my absolute favourites is the 'wrong tube train' bit. In and of itself it would read as a very simple and straightforward anecdote... but the delivery, context and build up to it absolutely slayed me. Laughed out loud on my own and keep thinking about it. That is a masterful piece of stand-up
I got rid of my TV in 2017 and I don’t consume gossip media. I literally just saw a clip of you on a compilation on RUclips and thought I’d not seen you for a while. I’m glad I watched this, you’re funnier than ever, keep it up
This really is an exceptional piece of work. Very funny, but also very heartfelt, honest and in places, emotional. I haven’t seen any stand-up recently that comes close to this. It has everything. Brilliantly crafted.
That was really great, really well constructed and paced hour. Laughed throughout and such a deft touch with how you wrapped up the story about your dad - heartwarming without being over the top. Hats off!
👏 Well done Seann! This actually made me cry at the end. So pleased that everything is working out for you and that you are doing what you love with your beautiful family. You have been through some really tough times but somehow you can turn it into a hilarious story! Incredible ❤ Loved it xxx
I don’t usually make YT comments but I just had to for this. This is genuinely the BEST piece of stand up I have seen in a long long long time. Absolutely hilarious, yet touching and authentic unlike any other. Seann you’re bloody brilliant, thanks for the laughs
I’ve watched this 3 times now & I think it’s the best, heartfelt 1 hour special in a long long time. Seann’s expertly placed callbacks are so well crafted. Impressions are great too. Bravo Sir.
Thank you for sharing this on here Seann. You are a brilliant comedian. You were not just comedy gold in this show, you were honesty gold too. I've had depression and anxiety for just over 10 years. I'm in my late twenties and I have also attempted to end things. So to hear you talk about it was very moving and I appreciate that you did. You made me smile and laugh a lot. Welcome back Seann! It is great to see you back! Been a fan of yours since I saw you appear on Mock the week :) I send you my regards!
This is SO good! I think the last comedy special that made me laugh out loud like this one did was KISS. The bit at the end 🥲 so glad you're doing what you want to do. Can't wait to see your show again in Newcastle!
Finally found some time to give this my full attention and it was worth it. Been a fan of Seann for ages and I’m glad that he’s back doing what he does best. I’m glad she took the toaster ❤😂
Seen you in Edinburgh twice and simply the best act live I have seen. Few comics have this level of bravery and utter commitment to their craft. Mesmerising and simply brilliant. Wishing you all the luck you truly deserve.
I've seen this a number of times now - Magic! Sean, if you're reading, you're one of the best, and deserve so much more in the UK comedy/media circuit! Always caught your live tours..

Seann, you don't just 'do' what you want to do - you, sir, are a master of it. I thought you couldn't do better than than the hungover, batman on repeat sketch (I think I actually pissed myself watching that live in Cirencester); you've proved me wrong. Superb, and hilarious throughout with an honesty few are brave enough to share. Legend.
You've been my favourite comedian since I saw you at Live at the Apollo. Seen you live 3 times at Norwich twice and Cambridge. This is brilliant. You're back Seann
"I went on Strickly Come Dancing and I got post traumatic stress disorder, let me just repeat that in case it didnt register" could be the best piece of comedy I've seen in years. Incredible show man, watched it a few times. Class
I lost my dad recently and found it really touching the way you spoke about yours. I wish you nothing but well. Good luck in continuing to do what you want you want to do.
From start to finish this is absolute comedy gold!! Sean is one of the best around... funniest stand up I've seen in a long time...Great to see him back 👏
I was at the Strictly filming the week after you were in the news about the whole affair debacle. I had to sneak off for a loo break and tripped over one of the props and you caught me mid-air while you were practising for the dance off. You were so lovely, but the stress coming off you was palpable. It was such an awful week for you as it was clear that you just wanted to go, but the BBC kept you in for the ratings. I’m truly happy for you that you seem to be getting back into your stride, and this is one of the funniest specials I’ve seen in ages. Huge congrats
@@seannwalshcomedy because you were stuck in fight or flight and were following the path of least resistance to try to keep people happy. If you haven’t already, you should read a book called “The Body Keeps the Score” by Bessel Van Der Kolk. It’s an amazing read about how trauma is processed in our bodies. Also, “When the Body says No” by Gabor Mate. All the best Seann
Really enjoyed this - funny yet also showing your true self - another reminder in life we never know what others are going through….and you made it funny 😂
I see you at up the Creek and watched you grow, I am so glad you didn’t end it and carried on! You’re so funny. People love you and care for you. F**k the media.
Been looking forward to seeing this and loved it, absolutely brilliant show Seann. Thanks so much for sharing and glad things are looking up for you now ❤️
Saw Seann at 2011 or 2012 at Leeds Fest. My mate and I were 17 or 18 and we loved every second of it. Hit all the right notes for who we were at the time. Aged 30 now and this is every bit as brilliant as I remember Seann to be. A very well written and delivered show. Thank you!
This is off the charts brilliant. I’m halfway through, just today learned of Seann with two ns (im in Portland Maine USA hence the lack of awareness about uk dancing show controversy) anyway if comedy around here was 1/10th this good I’d be going out every night to watch it, I’d be a complete comedy junkie. I dearly hope this guy never ever kills himself.
Saw this set at the Edinburgh festival when it was originally done in 2019. Hands down best show that year, all my friends agreed too. In fact i still think about it, so its great Seann has posted it so i can watch it again, thank you.
@@seannwalshcomedy posted that about 10 mins in then realised that this is your new one, my bad 😂 this was as good as when I saw you in 2019 Seann. You're a real talent mate, always remember that.
Seann…in the small chance you’ll read this I’m so glad you’re getting back to what you do best. That was the best bit of stand up I’ve watched in a very long time 😊…I’d seen you live a few times pre strictly and look forward to the chance to see you again in the future 🤞🤞🤞
Feeling sorry for myself as I’ve got gout .. I’ve put this on and I’m pissing myself … so funny , for a hour mate you made me forget my pain … keep going
This was brilliant. Excellent comedy and poignant stories. Thanks for being open about things, Seann. I know how difficult things like that can be and it must have taken a lot to stand up there and open up like that. Hope people can find inspiration among the laughter. That Michael McIntyre impression was incredible as well! 🤘

For the record, his previous show was the most well put together comedy I've seen out of an English comedian. I was blown off my feet. He's excellent.
Agreed. It is a phenomenal piece of work.
Totally agree… he didn’t waste one second of being on that stage… genuinely, that was perfection!

I see you at up the Creek and watched you grow, I am so glad you didn’t end it and carried on! You’re so funny. People love you and care for you. F**k the media.
❤🙏
😂, I hope you do a sitcom.
It will be awesome
...
Haha, Stewart Lee impressions "right in your face"
Been looking forward to seeing this and loved it, absolutely brilliant show Seann. Thanks so much for sharing and glad things are looking up for you now ❤️
Really enjoyed it... a great stand-up show. Many laugh out loud moments. Brilliantly delivered
Great to hear!
Thank you!
Thank you Loi! please share if you don’t mind. All helps xx love those festivals
Thanks Seann, very authentic and honest. I have always liked you and your comedy. I laughed and almost cried too. Keep doing what you're doing.
I appreciate that! please share if you don’t mind. All helps xx
@@seannwalshcomedy How can I say no?! I'll share to my pitiful subscriber list immediately! ☺
Saw this set at the Edinburgh festival when it was originally done in 2019. Hands down best show that year, all my friends agreed too.
In fact i still think about it, so its great Seann has posted it so i can watch it again, thank you.
Thanks Craig ❤
@@seannwalshcomedy posted that about 10 mins in then realised that this is your new one, my bad 😂 this was as good as when I saw you in 2019 Seann. You're a real talent mate, always remember that.
This is the funniest stand up I've seen for ages.
Had a crappy start to the day, but this has more than made up for it. Thanks. 👏👏👏👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it! Please do me a huge favour and share it if you haven’t already. Every view helps. X
@@seannwalshcomedy of course. Sorry I've only just this reply. You'll be back at the top before you know it.

Seann…in the small chance you’ll read this I’m so glad you’re getting back to what you do best. That was the best bit of stand up I’ve watched in a very long time 😊…I’d seen you live a few times pre strictly and look forward to the chance to see you again in the future 🤞🤞🤞
I appreciate that! Thank you Norm x
Feeling sorry for myself as I’ve got gout .. I’ve put this on and I’m pissing myself … so funny , for a hour mate you made me forget my pain … keep going
Mr Walsh you had me at putting the Imaginary window down, in the imaginary car, in the McDonald's drive thru...genius. I salute you sir.
😂😂 thank you please share Stuart x
This is really good. The Michael McIntyre impression is fantastic.
Thanks so much! Xx
Great stuff Sean! 😂 Good to see you back
This is great, reconnected with Seann via Have a word, so pleased he has come back bigger and better
Appreciate that Tom. Please share if you don’t mind
