Absolutely - this is the reason why baseball ⚾ is the best team sport. I am not a Yankees fan; yet, I am an Aaron Judge supporter, as a result of such kindness.

No way. This story was so blown up im the sports media the public relations team had no choice but to do this. I mean come on its all filmed with a bunch of people around. If he cared that much it would have been one on one behind the scenes.

It’s not like he was the one saying “make sure there are cameras filming so everyone can see how nice I am”. I love the fact that this Jay fan stay out of the lime light and stay back in this video clip. He is a real good man.
I think him just being in the dugout next to Judge is a jaw dropping moment. I don’t care if you despise the Yankees when it comes to guys like Aaron Judge the hatred for the Yankees goes out the window. His kindness got him probably got him some cool game worn gear and a photo with one of the brightest stars of the game and free tickets to that game as well.
That young man just got to meet 2 outstanding men, awesome!

I have a new appreciation for A Judge. Very classy- this was a photo opportunity but he spent the time to talk and connect with the kid. Not a Yankees fan but I’ve become a big Judge fan after watching this and the season he just put up.

What is there not to like about anything in this story? The guy that caught the ball did an amazing thing for that young Judge fan and the organizations did the right thing for all of them. And the kid fulfilled his dream of meeting his favorite baseball player. This is a feel good story from every angle! Nice job to everyone involved!

This was so nice on so many levels. I’m a 68 year old life time die-hard Yankee fan and a huge Aaron Judge fan and he’s among the best ambassadors the game has ever had but the real hero here was the Toronto fan. What an incredibly nice thing to do for that young fan. Kudos to everyone involved. You’re all credits to the spirit of the game and to humanity. God bless all Thxjd

@Kayaker Dude No doubt. I kinda miss the days where I could follow baseball. since moving out west, it's gotten really difficult. First, most Yankee games start at 4pm PT.. that means by the time I'm home.. the game is almost over. The local team I can't bring myself to root for (Diamondbacks.. they beat the yanks for a WS title.. can't go there) unlike when I lived in Colorado. The Rockies were fun to root for.. So lately, I've only been following the Yanks when I can and letting the rest go.. where before I used to was any an all games... that might have to do with the fact that I work as an umpire at the youth level (HS and down) and follow more baseball/softball than ever before. Still, Gotta love this game.
I respect the Judge who has a soft heart, even there's a rivalry in baseball but its only a game to entertain the fans, good to see Judge caring for his fans.

Holy shit man... Im wiping my eyes while typing this. I've been a sports fan/athlete my whole life, played every sport you can imagine and im a fan of so many different players/athletes...... This is so moving & heartwarming to see as I grow older. It really makes you think as you age, about how important these moments are for young fans and children who adore these superstar athletes.
If you're not even getting chills (let alone tearing up) from this, you have no love for sports, period.

I remember in the early 90s b4 the Jays won their World Series they ended up losing a few playoff series. The fans were always so classy and would politely clap for the other team to congratulate them

Damn chills man chills and I’m an Angels fan. Good for that Blue Jay fan doing the right and honorable thing. Not similar but I met some angels at the fest signing that had a long time ago they all signed my glove wish I for some reason was never able to find when I moved to my current location but I’ll never forget that experience.
