  • It doesn’t get much easier than this! If you want an easy healthy family dinner that is super nourishing and packed full of nutrients, you can’t go past this Gluten Free Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup.
    This is a really great recipe for anyone wanting to improve their gut health and support the immune system, but it’s particularly nourishing for mums with bubs in the postpartum period (in that year or so after pregnancy) when there’s extra demands on the body and we need to replenish our stores after pregnancy.
    By cooking the whole chicken we’re not only getting the nutrients from the actual chicken and veggies, but the bones and cartilage also supply a big dose of minerals and collagen that’s easily and quickly absorbed by your body.
    And then when we use the remaining bones to make a straight bone broth, we can add this to our cooking throughout the week or sip on it, freeze it and find ways to include it in our daily eating so we’re continuing to get those beautiful health benefits.
