- There are so many interesting locations to see and explore in Fallout 4 but some of the most interesting one are classed as hidden locations because they won't appear on the map as a point of interest. So in this video I've gone over 10 awesome hidden locations you should check out and I've let you know exactly where to find them!
Some of these locations contain awesome easter eggs and some of them contain super rare loot in the form of weapons, what better reason do you need to visit them?!

Fallout 4 is a 2015 action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fourth main game in the Fallout series and was released worldwide on November 10, 2015, for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. The game is set within an open world post-apocalyptic environment that encompasses the city of Boston and the surrounding Massachusetts region known as "The Commonwealth".
Fallout 4 takes place in the year 2287, 10 years after the events of Fallout 3 and 210 years after the Great War, a war between the United States and China over natural resources that ended in a nuclear holocaust in 2077. The setting is post-apocalyptic, covering a region that includes Boston and other parts of New England known as "The Commonwealth". Unlike the previous titles, Fallout 4's story begins on the day the bombs dropped: October 23, 2077.

Shoot the bottom of the propane bottles in the launchers. They will launch off and explode. Reload the launcher and do it again.

Yeah that’s what I was about to say! Best to use a pistol, for better accuracy. A shotgun will probably just explode it lol but I found it on my very first playthrough and had so much fun. Never came across it again in all my other playthroughs though

I don't know if u kno this but old gullet sinkhole has a quest. U get the quest by talking to the guys working at the bar in bunker hill

I really like the tower near the Deathclaw nest in "Devil's Due" If you climb it and turn on the circuit, an alarm will sound and legendary Deathclaws will emerge.
Oh yeah. Found that out. Was not very high level and died like five times before i beat them. Good ol spray n pray.

@@glizzyking-ih7yh I think it's northwest of Parsons insane asylum. I found it when I was going there with Jack Cabot, I'm pretty sure. I could be wrong but you can probably find where it is in a video.

Near the Corvega Factory, there's a ruined building where Regi Blattaria (translates to Roach King) appears. He will only be there once the Prydwen has arrived. I also believe you have to be at level 30+. In any case... He's a Legendary enemy, and he also wields a minigun or a Gatling laser. Pretty strong!
I've never seen the deathclaw at the sinkhole just wandering around. Every time I've been there (maybe a dozen times) it is hiding in the rubble at the bottom of the crater and when I get close it immediately attacks.
Trader at "cat" place is the cat person (she will sell you cat meat) and there are multiple cat graves just outside the shack. I heard a theory that she raises cats for the meat and once she slaughters them for meat she buries them.
That red skeleton and 0451 are an Easter egg. A tip of the hat to Ray Bradbury's novel "Fahrenheit 451", On my console there is no 10. It switches to 0
The fact you didn’t shoot the canisters and watch them literally shoot into the sky is painful.
There is an unmarked location just south of Bunker Hill. Down a back alley, there is a group of buildings and one of them is accessible via the porch. Inside is 3 floors with a couple of feral ghouls on each floor. You can find some messages explaining that there was a scientist here doing radiation experiments on the occupants & that she eventually succumbed to the radiation.
I got a legendary Incendiary Lazer gatling gun in that location from a ghoul. Crazy damage dealer!!!
She was doing the experiments on herself.
The trader at the cat cabin sells catmeat.
this latest playthrough, i was @ Oberland station and heard what i later realized was the crashed alien space ship.
next time i start over i'm going to make sure that i actually witness the crash lol

The best way is to create a hard save just before you hit level 20. You can trigger the crash by fast traveling, so with the hard save, you can attempt to get the best view. If you are already level 20 and you come out of an interior cell, it will likely trigger it so it's best to get level 20 in the great outdoors, then fast travel to a location north of Oberland.
Look, these locations are near a settlement, that needs your help OUCH GENERAL THAT HURTS.
Those are are not "hidden" IMHO. But then playing FO4 for over 8 years might be the reason. 😌
the "friendly" deathclaw is waiting for its egg to be returned from the Museum of Witchcraft, it's not friendly just to be friendly, it's friendly as a part of "The Devil's Due" quest...if you are carrying its egg and you move close to it then leave the area without putting it in its nest, it will cease being friendly. But if you place it in the nest, it'll let you leave the area safely.
The cat cabin is a pretty notaworthy location if you are a cool cat, cause the trader there sells the Atom cats jacket. It's a variant of Zeke's jacket, with different bonus stats, but this variant CAN be upgraded with ballistic fiber. So you can be a cool cat while also being protected. 😺
You can 100% here the UFO Crash... It triggered for me when I levelled up while at Sanctuary Hills - At least on my current (New) Playthrough... Cait even commented on it!
Prost Bar also becomes a hidden but required visit with a couple of quests... Namely "The Paper Mirror"... Good video none the less as many may still miss these if they dont do side quests.
Couldn't get inside the pump house because Bethesda games do this thing where they shit themselves inside out if you don't complete certain tasks or puzzles properly the first time you find them. Kind of annoying

The Deathclaw is friendly corse thhere is a mini mission where you can bring back some eggs. If you destroy the eggs, it will engage you on sight.
The Sinkhole is part of a side quest you pick up from Bunker Hill

The alien spaceship isn't hidden at one point in the game it crashes and shows you where it crashed
the boatyard nr covenant has a cool combat shotgun 😉

Should I get fallout 4 or fallout 76 I want more combat than story? I have game pass so no need to worry about price
Fallout 4 - definitely!
F4 is more of a a looter/shooter while 76 still has more RPG elements but sucks everywhere else.

The UFO, you will hear it overhead and if you have a companion they will give you a "what the heck was that" or something like that when it flies over. While I have played through like 25+ times I have never actually seen it overhead (but I am rarely looking up).
I've seen it on most play-throughs, and one interesting fact is that it's crashing nowhere remotely close to where you find it. If you look in the direction it crashes, then pull up your map, it's not the same direction to (near) Oberland Station. If you head towards where you SEE it crash, you'll never find it.
@@TheJLF65 omg! I wondered why I couldn't find the damn ship! I finally caught it crashing once, Hancock did his "What the hell? wanna check it out?" and we took off in that direction (i've hardly done that lil mini quest before, so I have no idea off the top of my head where the crash site is, just that it's around Oberland), and as you said, no dice. I didn't even bother to check the map lol, I just turned back toward Oberland. Good to know for the future.
@@sarahshroom The first few times, I didn't catch the direction, so I made sure to do so on the next play-thru. I lined up directly with it's crash vector and took off! I was half-way across the Glowing Sea before I started to question whether the ship was actually to be found along the path it takes when crashing. 🤔🤣
I've seen it fly over, but only because when i hit lvl 20 i expected it. I was in Sanctuary and knew to look up.
The Helmet and Sword in the Oyster Bar is part of a quest you find on top of Hubirus Comics roof.
I wonder if you can instruct a companion to press the button on the Joker Trap so you can get both sets of loot or if both blow up …
Worth a try if you haven't visited it, though not convinced it would work

Check down from the place where you can shoot the canisters. You say no notable enemies..
A certain enemies nest is in a very small cave (not really a cave, not loading screen and like 4-5 feet deep.)
On my last two run-throughs (including my current one) I was aware you could hear and see the spaceship. I may have heard it on an earlier go, but just not registered what it was, but I did hear it these two times.
I never saw it, though.
I quickly looked up when I heard it, but saw nothing.
Maybe on my next go...
You can shoot the valves on the tanks at rocket shed and they launch on there own

One of the unmarked locations I am always fond of is the trader who is due east of Sanctuary Hills. I also like the trader who is exactly south of coastal Cottage❤

The pyro shed; shoot the base of the extinguishers and they'll launch.
I was level 17-19 when I saw the alien crash. Caught me off guard, even though I knew it was coming. You hear a boom, and if you look up quick enough you can see it's trails in the direction it crashes. I think it has multiple triggers, as I've seen and heard it on a few plays, not always at 20, but always before 30. When I saw it this last play I was building and hadn't leveled up yet.
It only happens at Level 20
