  • The Greater Manchester Visitor Economy Strategy 2024-2030 provides the strategic framework for the tourism and visitor economy sector across Greater Manchester - Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, and Wigan. It has been developed by Marketing Manchester - the city region’s official Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) - in consultation with stakeholders across Greater Manchester, setting out a roadmap to lead the sector sustainably through an expected period of growth in over the next five years.
Here, the strategy is introduced by Cllr Bev Craig, Leader of Manchester City Council and Economy, Business, and Inclusive Growth Lead at Greater Manchester Combined Authority with further contributions reflecting on key strategic aims from:
Victoria Braddock, Managing Director at Marketing Manchester
Sue Johnson, Chief Executive at Bolton Council
Nick Brooks-Sykes, Director of Tourism at Marketing Manchester
Chris Woodroofe, Managing Director at Marketing Manchester
