I love you're whole callout on these key reads. I've watched Jaylon Smith, Vander Esch, and Jeff Heath blindly miss run fits rocketing to the wrong hole full speed. My gold standard LB is Sean Lee for when we had him on the field. Find me another one of those supercomputers who stuff runs a yard deep in the backfield and gets off blocks.
No substitute for quick reads, fast mental processing and reactions. Quiet as it's kept, last season, Bell was quick and played sudden in those areas a lot more than Clark who looked mentally slow in his processing and reactions.
Man, Sean Lee.
Just like roughly 98% of all pro LBs... Sean Lee had some "moments". He NEVER took over ANY games as an "ass-kicker" linebacker.
@@unconqueredmale339 Sean Lee had moments of a kick ass lb but honestly didn’t need to be because how easily he can breakdown and dissect an offense . LIke Sean Lee , LVE best trait was breaking down and dissecting the offense . Lbs of the dissecting tree make the defense as awhole great and nsync , hence ( Eric Kendrick’s )
@@mauricetaylor9638 Your regurgitated theory that you heard other fanboys upchuck sounds good.... but the FACTS show otherwise. At NO time during Sean Lee OR LVE's playing time with Dallas did the Cowboys have anything close to a dominant or "great" defense. They had nice moments. That's it. A long line of gimmick, health-risk bad decisions made by the Cowboys on LBS (Smith, Lee, and LVE) that did-not-work. Keep dreaming.
He sheds blockers really well
Great film breakdown of the mental reps. As a former linebacker this analysis was refreshing!
Thanks for breaking down this film for us. If he has the football intellect in place that means he can step in and we won’t have the kind of drop off we had when the starter has gone down in the past. I also think with the new special team rules an extra linebacker or two might be valuable. Special teams is probably his only chance at a roster spot. So far, all these UDFA’s have some upside. It’ll be fun to see how they progress in camp.
Thank you again VOCH 🔥.
I’ll take a “smart” not so athletic Lb over a “dumb” super athlete at Lb any day.
Facts, it does you no good running fast in the wrong direction
Last year our linebackers did not perform well against the run when faced against winning teams. Poor coaching, weakness in our d-line, the winning teams had a field day against our small and out of position linebackers. With our new big defensive linemen and our new core of big, bad ass linebackers, we will punish running backs, forcing teams to pass. New defensive coaching, big tough men in the trenches, bad ass linebackers and outstanding corners and safeties... Doomsday is back! DC4L!
Yea I like him. I can see him getting a lil playtime
We have been lacking physicality and reliability for years at the LB spot. Looks good from this small sample size, but I’m hoping like hell we finally have some LBs that will lay the boom and do their damn job
I liked josey jewel. I thought he was a stud linebacker, not the most athletic but always knew where to be to make the play.
Voch crazy was about to say hands on your knees but didnt cuz the drake and Kendrick beef 😂
More LB film Voch!
Can't have enough L.B.s quality depth and help on special teams. Film don't lie he is a very high IQ player. Size to play middle and help with the run forsure. Was there much tape of him in coverage. Just being in the right spot and time could get him some picks
He gets to the ball carrier but then he doesn’t finish well and he certainly doesn’t TFL or stuff.
You obviously never played linebacker.
Translation for read your keys: those five or six big nasties up front will take you to the ball. Great film out of the kid.
He is seeing where he needs to be, but sometimes is just a tick slow getting there. Like Voch said, the more cerebral type LB we have, the better. If he can stick around doing special teams things at first, I ain't mad at it.
🙏🏾🤔YES💪🏽🏈
Idk man, I'm seeing him hesitate before contact and having problems fighting off blocks.
It probably appears that way as he's playing team ball and not getting washed out trying to be a superhero.
Dude you obviously never played linebacker.
@@lovemonkey892 I saw the guy bench press an SEC o-lineman and says he can't get off blocks.
look like he's good for special teams
He's got a great name for a linebacker.
He does look like he's got a good feel for the game, but honestly, I think he lacks aggression at the point of attack. That, however, is something that can totally be coached into the player.
He sounds like he should play for the Vikings.
Reminds me of Alex Singleton
Fr tho. Alex Singleton was a beast at Montana State, and it translated well to the CFL and then later the NFL. Brock Mogenson is another FCS small school guy that can ball.
Bro I feel you about Peyton Wilson 😢 I wish we could have him.
👀
VOCH IF YOU CAN GET EMANY JOHNSON OUTTA NEVADA PLEASE GET HIM
Voch got illuminati connects for some of thie film😂😂😂
The illuminati does not exist...
*this comment paid for by the illuminati
Definitely a cerebral LB
He’s slow but has a good nose … run stopper for sure
He looks like an old-school linebacker. Them old boys who played against the option and wishbone.
He likes to play in the trash.
I like the other undrafted dude Vaughn over him
Vaughns a edge! This is a Middle linebacker. Hello?
Well if we talking about underrated players we like more… I like Vaughn more at edge. Hello?
Mogensen is gonna be a player!!😮
@@lovemonkey892 maybe so maybe so
