Thank you so much for this video, I am a really fan of Katy, she is a truly inspiration for every photographer!! many blessing to you Katy!!!! congratulations!!!!!
For me the Nikon D3s is the best camera for portraits and fashion. I used only prime Nikon Lenses 85mm f/1.4D, 105mm f/2D DC and the 135mm f/2D DC for portraits. For fashion i only used the Nikon 200mm f/2G VRII. I eat before i shoot and after, between the shoots only water no snacks. I loved the Billingham 335/555 camera bags. For me everything imust be clean and organized. Maybe i buy the iPad Pro because the Macbook Pro is to many to carry with my two Billingham bags. I carry to much gear around and you have great things to think about. Thanks for your video.
Thanks for liking the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens. I almost bought one of these lens over 4 years ago. I like this lens as a Super-Zoom lens for a new Nikon D500 that I plan to buy next month. I plan to use a Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II lens as my primary lens for the D500 unless somebody can suggest a lens that is better than the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-80mm f/2.8-4E ED VR lens that comes as the "kit" lens with the D500.
Be careful , if making a stopover in Beijing. Customs will confiscate all your spare batteries , due safety precautions. Check out the latest airport rules.....There are special lens-vice -tool-filterring adjustment available to correct the lens edge dent , @amazon , never use garden-tool-plyers
Huh? Prices fluctuate, but the Nikon 17-35 has always been one of the most expensive lenses in the wide angle range. The Nikon 14-24 f/2.8 is $1,850 and down to $1,650 or so after rebates. The Nikon 17-35 f/2.8 is just a bit under $2,000 ($1952). Either way, you don't use one over the other because of trying to save a buck, or using the "cheaper" of the two just to be on the safe side if the lens gets damaged.
Nice kit, but HUGE and very heavy. You should protect your back. Maybe it is about time you should think mirorless full frame for much cheaper and very closed to your actual camera in quality. More and more Pro’s are switching...
+Ctrèsbeau Claude Pro's would start switching if battery life and AF were up to par with top of the line DSLRs. Mirrorless has a long way to go if they want to completely replace the DSLR market for the professional.
Thing is, once you equip Mirror-less with full frame lenses, the weight will be about the same as a full frame DSLR setup. Especially with those new G Master Full Frame lenses for the Sony A full frame systems.
Ctresbeau. Maybe it's about time you bought her mirrorless lenses since you're a Pro and an expert in giving advises like Dr. Phil. You sound like a noob not knowing DSLR's been around longer than mirrorless, and not to mention photography is not a cheap hobby and investment. Share us what's in your camera bag, because we all want to know.
Okay, she likes her pelikan case, but how does she moves it? Maybe she would also like a trolley by Thinktank? AND: It was awsome to watch this. I feel more humble now.

Very useful, coming from someone with a professional's perspective, thank you!

What made you switch from canon to Nikon?
Have u ever used UV filters to protects ur lenses?

Great interview-terrible audio. Not a good idea doing this on a busy street.
Thank you good info.
Glad to see a female pro who isn't shooting Canon. lol
There is an older video of her where she was a canon shooter
Nikon is one step ahead of Canon, except in video.
When It comes to stills , Nikon is the best , no questions about that.
She was a Canon shooter. Glad she came over to Nikon.Smart woman

Por fin alguien que valore el 28-300. Basta de buscar la quinta pata al gato !!!
she looks younger than in the 4 year old video :-)

In 10 years the DSLR will be replace by Mirorless. Count on it!

Vueey Le Yeah but sadly the camera would be lens/front heavy. Not a good balance in the hand after shooting for 8 hours

She keeps mentioning "tents" I shoot Fashion Week in Paris, and Ive never seen a tent. Must be an American thing? Weird.
Классная тётка...👍👍👍
