Man, i just cried when I saw that letter on the corner of the background image. People can say that SnK ending is bad, but im happy - because that ending gave us the truth -, that showed us Eren on his own purity. The author didnt changed Eren mind just for a "perfect, impactant and different ending". We had a weak Eren, that loved his friends as a family, and gave his life to give a freedom that he didnt had for the others, even the ones who hated him.
I agree but love doesn't make you weak, if anything it makes you strong. It showed us the human side of him, that's he's not just a mindless monster. He's still the eren we loved. what he did was technically a sacrifice as well and makes his character all the more deep and complex

So if we pretend this video is canon to Attack on Titan chronologically it likely happened between the "tatakae" scene and the Jaegerists uprising/table scene. Now imagine Eren's cell is left exactly as is, he tells Mikasa he hates her, the gang gets thrown in his cell and then: Mikasa: "Does he really hate us Armin?" Everyone other then Armin and Mikasa: *Sees the obvious picture of Mikasa on the wall.* Armin: "Normally I'd say no, but honestly he's been acting so differently recently that it's hard to say." Jean: "Uh, should we tell em?" Mikasa: "But if he's lying why on Earth would he do it?" Connie: *Rips the poem off the wall and reads it.* "Damn I didn't know Jaeger could even write much less make poetry this romantic."
