    I’ve a 1.5 tdi with stage 2 tune from ICD tuning. It rips and fast Af. The car build perse isn’t costly as you’ve stated but the maintenance goes above your head once the odo touches 1L kms. Still the best fun to drive proper hot hatch for ripping the city

    • @captainjacksparrow1

      maintenance like? approx expense for a pre owned car to make it run good?

    • @hariharasudhan907
      @hariharasudhan907 2 года назад +1

      @@captainjacksparrow1 it depends on the condition of the car. The annual maintenance would be up to 15-17k. Once it crosses 60k in odo you’ve to mostly change suspension depending on the driving style and the road conditions and majority of the service depends on the city road conditions. Most of the spares from the dealers are priced obnoxiously high.

    If you get to own a car like this, DONT TUNE IT RIGHTAWAY! There's a lot to play around with the car other than its engine. What I'd suggest doing is get all the electrical upgrades such as BCM, headunit, cluster, steering, electric side mirrors, parking sensors, rear camera. And other mechanical upgrades such as better 256mm brakes, suspension and finally a nice short shifter with ball bearing for that rubbery shifting you mentioned. Bring the car to current trend and then explore the car. After 2-3 years when you get bored with the stock power, go for the tune. This would be financially relieving and a chance to experience the car.
