@Anticommunism99 US is far left that is hilarious. In capitalist states with free market people charge what they want an the market decides if it is value for money you are being critical of how people are using their ability to charge what they want because of the form of state you idealize

M'lady and I used to dine out a lot more. Once we started 'adulting' and bought a house, the budget for dining out has shrunk significantly. However, since we've gotten a house with a decent kitchen I've upped my cooking game. When we do go out, I usually go for things I wouldn't make at home. We both work from home now so getting out to eat sometimes is a HUGE help mentally. We usually sit at the bar and chit chat folks for some social interaction.
@@jakecortez4795 cook your own food at home , safe money for more important stuff like having 5 kids . God gave us the right to multiply as much as we want . Nowadays only Indians , Pakistani , Bangladesh , Africa is growing in numbers rapidly .
Me and some if my colleagues go out to eat once a month. Been over a year now and still one of the best decisions I've made (I started the group). It's a very good refresher and also lets me get out of the house and have a nice meal once a month.
I work as a chef but i still go out to eat a couple of times a month, especially to an asian Restaurant that has a dish that is just nostalgic and that i always get a sort of joy of eating
Thanks for reminding me it’s okay to be a home body. I don’t leave my apartment other than for work and groceries and sometimes I feel like the only one. I love the outdoors, I just wish I could afford to live somewhere with less people
I feel this way about Korean BBQ, I cook a lot at home, but I’ll happily pay $30 for it as it would take more than that in items I don’t use regularly.
Nah, for me its burgers. I've done everything from high quality meat, smashed patties etc. just, nothing compares to a burger in a restaurant/diner. Even if its a mid patty, the experience is just so good imo nostalgia
I tend to eat out pretty regularly, my job involves driving anywhere with my county and 3 others surrounding me. It’s more efficient for me to spend 30-40 bucks on lunch or dinner than it is to drive an hour and a half home, I’m usually spending 5-10 for a salad or sandwich though
The combo of good food and no dishes is great. That's worth some good money. €23 for a plate of gorgeous chilly that I might have been able to make but not having to clean 5 pans and and all the other stuff is worth it
When I pick a restaurant to go to it's all about the food. And I want proper portions. The only small plates I would order is a meze or tapas..nothing too pretentious..just tasty food please.
@@Alex-xz8wz can you comprehend? A tasting menu isn’t a non proper portion.. you get 10+ dishes which add up to the same amount of food or are you just that dense you can’t comprehend
@@jakecortez4795 So, just to maybe clear this up, I think you've misunderstood the initial comment. That wasn't them attacking the chef in the video because of the smaller dishes he was making in it, they were just discussing their personal preferences for when and why they go out to eat at restaurants in general, because it was the topic of the video itself. I do also get why you might have thought it was attacking him though, since there seems to be a pretty large number of commenters who _do_ give him shit for what kinda just seems like no real reason.

That's fine, I can eat more than you too. Have you ever had a Big Mac? It's about 220g. Our tasting menu is a little over 750g so about 3 and a half big macs. If you're eating that and still being hungry you should probably get checked out.
More bare hands on ready-to-eat food. Glad I don't live in your area. Why even have the utensils for one item while grabbing another. Truly disgusting.

The food and the experience are the reasons I eat out at fancier establishments. Yes the not having to prep or cleanup are nice bonuses.
