The wrestling/mma community is littered with white nationalist type guys, so he is *distancing* himself from anything authentically Black so as to not upset the people he is around the most. Why do you think so many people in these comments are saying he is such a "good guy"? It's not just because he refused to trash Jon Jones. It's because he's the type of Black man they like. Tyron Woodley is an example of the kind of Black man that makes them uncomfortable. Nothing against DC, as he does seem to be a solid guy. This is just an observation of his behavior from a racial and ethnic standpoint.

You know what's interesting about what you just said? I think that might just really happen. Jon has said in the past he admires DC and he wants to be like him, a law abiding, good Samaritan, and great father. I think for Jon if he had somebody who was career-wise on his level that could relate to him, and also given the rivalry they had in the past, for DC to like reach out and help him Jon would appreciate that. He would think DC genuinely is concerned for his well being and I think that would motivate him to change his life around.
