  • In this video, the Branson Fam attended the opening concert of Thunder Ridge, Nature's Arena. Garth Brook and Trisha Yearwood put on a phenomenal show, but the main point of this video is to show the spectacular potential of the Branson area's newest and largest concert venue.

This concept is great only I don't understand why the train and Hilton Branson landing aren't in progress plan. If could get train to thunder ridge within safe walking distance and sell concert accommodation vacation packages be wise. Plus the landing in Branson is ready for tourists and families.

Branson has some great plans in place, but I don’t think rerouting the train tracks that far is in them. I am not sure who would be responsible for that happening. The businesses that you listed are all their own entities. They would each have their own investments and risks in a project like that. Your idea is a great concept that sounds super cool to me. The reality though is most likely if lodging and transportation are involved, they are most likely going to be including the other properties owned by Johnny Morris. Those properties are closer and also more in line with the nature theme of Thunder Ridge.

Hi, driving from Chicago to see Morgan Wallen. Is it a big party scene or do u think it’s appropriate for 12 year old?
Also do u need clear bags?

When we watched Garth Brooks, there was plenty of alcohol being sold, but I never felt unsafe. Not sure about Morgan Wallen concerts though to be fair. Branson itself is not that much of a party city. The venue is also kind of out in the middle of nowhere (on purpose). So with the 12 year old, it kind of just depends on your comfort zone of your child being around alcohol. We personally think that it is safe, but our comfort zone might not be the same as everyone else. For Garth Brooks, there were tons of children at the concert. As young as newborns even. The different thing about Thunder Ridge is if you are on the hillside, you kind of take up your own space on the hill with your blankets etc. So we personally feel safe in our own little space on the hill.
They didn't use to require clear bags, but they are starting to lean that direction. I am going to copy and paste their allowed items:
      "Clear Bag/Totes - no larger than 12 x 6 x 12
Small Clutch Purse - no bigger than the palm of your hand 4.5 x 6.5
      Fanny Packs
      Blankets
Cameras - nonprofessional only, no detachable lens
      Sunscreen
E-Cigarettes & Vape Pens ONLY IN DESIGNATED SMOKING AREAS
Personal Misting Fans - must be emptied upon arrival
Empty reusable non-glass water bottles up to 1 Liter.
      Raincoats
      Ponchos"
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

l@@BransonFamVlog thank you so much for your time and replying. My 12 year old has been to Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett concert. We also lived in Nashville for bit. I’m super excited for this venue! Thank you again. 😊
