Genie Francis is gorgeous and such a tremendous actress. Her and Tony were incredible together. They could do romance, comedy, angst, fighting just about any type of scene and make it incredible.
Luke's expression at 8:48 man..... he really shows a complete loss of focus, confusion, stupor, suspicion, etc. He is a method actor, I'm afraid to think how he achieved this!

This is so amazing to watch because Laura now has a backbone, she has emotional strength. I am currently watching 1978, and Laura was on probation from the David Hamilton s/l, Laura had NO self esteem, she was a lost soul. It was Luke that brought out Laura's self esteem. She grew into a Fine Woman. Scotty's voice has changed since 79, its deeper, raspier, I wonder if he smokes. Interesting.
Are you watching an GH 78 playlist, and if so, which one? Most of the 78 stuff I get is from a Rick and Lesley site. The bummer of this video, and the beginning again #3, is that I believe there was a 4, 5, and 6, but they got wiped out, so no one has beyond #3 of this site on RUclips. I keep searching and hoping!

The only way I can understand the pairing of TG/JE was because he and Jane are best friends in real life. He has said he was tired of LnL and playing the character of Luke for so long. Still, Tracy is such a harpy. I see no chemistry between them.
No explanation other than a horrible alternate universe. I stopped watching decades ago so in my universe they are still together. If anybody has been watching since the late 70s/early 80s and remembers all the stories including the Quatermaines, HOW can anyone accept Luke with anyone else, especially Tracy?!
I don’t know what happened to the writers making Nicholas Laura son and her getting with stepan. Bad writing. Luke and Laura forever. The cassidines are all evil.
Ugh to Luke and Scotty - Laura should of stuck with Stefan married him and they could of rose against Helena and run the Cassadine empire together. That would of made for some great storylines but the writers ruined it.
LOL, Ruined it when they put Laura with Luke? Yeah ok, most watched soap (In the United States of all time), and to this day Luke & Laura's wedding still's holds the #1 spot for highest number of viewers in Daytime television history. smh
@@shaneapple8935 I believe if they could get TG back and reunite Luke and Laura with another romantic adventure storyline and had a new wedding in 2024 they could get a lot of viewers back and make a lot of fans happy. If the writers caan come up with an incredible story, I think TG just might do it.

Man, TG just killed these scenes. These two absolutely bring out the best in each other. Meaning the actors AND the characters.
One of the reasons I love watching them is because it's evident how much they trust eachother as actors.
