Mirage became my 2nd main beside Bang in S2. He became my main with his Dummies Big Day buff, and I quit Apex in S18. So I'm sad to be missing out on these buffs, but I'm too busy in my life to waste mental energy on cheaters in a video game 😢😂
Mirage has been my guy since I started playing in season 4, he's close to being the only legend I play, so I'm always happy when you shine the spotlight on him. He requires a very particular play style to get the most out of him but once you understand that you get to the point where can solo full teams if you're good enough
Yah I absolutely hate fighting a mirage the sheer amount of visual clutter is beyond annoying it's a legit crap shoot to win when he ults the cooldowns wayy too low
Just got my first 20 bomb a week ago(5 years later) but it was with mirage, I a mirage main on and off throughout the years but his new upgrades are insane. He’s so much fun to play

Apex legends is only fun when your a pro at it i been playing since season 1 and always regret not getting into the ranked scene 😢I still have the season 1 battle pass skins too
If you know how to play him, mirage is insane. You can be more annoying than a fuse to fight. His kit has movement, scan, and res abilities. I do wish he had the speed boost on bamboozle perk though
Mirage is great but I feel bad winning 1v1s with Mirage or Rev. They are great for clutching up though. I def don't mind using their ults for 1v2/3 lol :)
His ultimate sometimes feels unfair in 1v1s but it's mostly because of how bad apex audio is, the clones are super loud and the real Mirage almost completely silent lol

Not gonna lie though I think I'ma get crypto drone nerfed. I'm giving my teammates perma wall hacks in dam near every fight. The stun with the alt is insane, and purp shield basically gives you a drone all the time. When I get 2 randos that play somewhat smart it's good. When I get 2 randos that are good at engagement, have good game sense. It's op, maybe not in higher lobbies, but in plat where I'm at, its just too good. I'm not saying pick me up obviously, but imagine you and moose running it. But also having wall hacks. Enemy getting stunned right before engagement so they can't turn to shoot. And easiest character to get killed teammates back into the fight. Y'all like to run duos anyways. More chances for y'all to have fun and do something crazy. This map, I can get purp shields ziplining around the outer part of the map hitting a couple evos and 6 scans with the drone. A couple supply crates by the team and bam purp shields by second ring. I would like to get 2 teammates to climb with, but I also like playing a little weird to have fun sometimes, which I don't think I'm good enough to pull off in higher lobbies. So it's kinda like get better but only use the good strats, or stay where I'm at and be able to have fun with weird strats sometimes. (Pretending like I can climb higher solo, lol)
The only reason why Mirage is unironically OP sometimes is because of how bad Apex's audio priority system is. Multiple times I've had 3-4 clones around me from the ult, all with very loud footsteps, meanwhile the real Mirage walks right up behind me and kills me with zero audio
