I got the 10 for $35 at Ross a few months ago. I "fixed it" by cutting out the useless, token carbon plate that was right under the heel. Totally different shoe without that hard thing between you and the lightstrike pro. The energy rods are fine, no need for a "plate", especially where they located it. Easy to remove, just take out the insole and use a razor to slice the fabric and pull it out. It's right on top, not embedded in the midsole.

Being a huge fan of the PXS, AP3, and TS8, I got the Boston 11 on 50% sale over the winter but even that doesn't redeem its brick-like character, feel, and ride. I agree it looks alright and I guess it'll be my occasional casual walking shoes now. I've been using the 11 for short treadmill warmup runs before my gym workouts and it's okay for that, but I'd still rather be running in something else.
It seems the Boston 12 is the workhorse daily trainer that many of us have been waiting for from Adidas. Just got the white one ordered and am really looking forward to it as I liked the overall look and fit of the 11. It was just the ride that I could not get myself to like. The Lightstrike Pro midsole foam is my favorite out of all the different foams I've tried from various brands and it's good to know that Lightstrike 2.0 is softer than 1.0 as well. Glad to know that Adidas is listening and reading what runners have to say!

I just had my first run in the Boston 12 and wow, I like it! I have all the other shoes, speed 3, rebel 3, novablast 3, etc, etc... and this one is way up there. It's a little firmer but not in a bad way. It reminds me of the old new balance TC. 👍

The Super-Trainer category is kind of infurating. Shoe brands are holding back one little thing (like Adidas not using Lightstrike Pro throughout this midsole) so that they can still charge an extra $100 for their top shoes. It's like a burger chain charging $4 for a hamburger and $10 for a cheesburger. Almost everyone wants the cheeseburger, but that markup for that one differentiating feature is too ridiculous.

@@DanKoval-bu3ue great question. If you have wide feet maybe try TTS, but Adidas does have these in wide.

With a long narrow foot have been disappointed with this one so far largely as got way too much volume in toebox. Can press the thumb down flat to the side of my toes but the length is good. Maybe then as my UK 13.5/US 14 comes in at 340g I am liking the Adios 8 much more. That in my size is fraction lighter than Thomas’ 12 and fits me way better than the 12.. In the end I did not mind the 11 and although it was firm I often found I was running in it way quicker than it felt. The 12 dare I say is maybe too soft for me and just feels bulky. Just ran in the Speed 3 for some easy with strides. I thought I could have used the Boston 12 for this but glad I didn’t. Again my Speeds weigh about the same as Thomas’s 12.

i have the same issue with the new novablast and the superblast being half a finger too long, and when i half size down, the toebox rubs against the knuckle of my big toe causing a major hotspot. Beside that theyre really superb shoes, sadly not the right fit for me.

보스턴11은 발볼이 좁고 내피 밴드가 발을 너무 조여서 4km 만에 포기하게 만들었는데
이번 보스턴 12는 발볼도 넓어진듯하고 내피밴드도 없어서 기대가됨.
