Love watching your videos. The ability to do so little to get these old engines running is a real testament to the quality and workmanship that were placed into these machines. I doubt 20-30 years from now you will see anyone start these new electronic controlled machines. Thanks so very much for sharing this.
Most of the older construction equipment abandoned wasn't because of engine failures most of the time it was int was the hydraulic pump or transmission. The older V71 series Detroit's built America and won WWll for us and they could be serviced easily in the field most of the time. Loved this video guys, I'll be subscribing to your channel.
I found this video, I was looking up a skidder being pressure washed and none showed up but this video I run these skidders but they have swinging grapple booms in idaho. The key ignition switch makes the same beeping noise though 🤣🌈🎇🛸✨ there is another logging job down the road & they have this exact model as on this video and a log loader to match,, I am pretty sure there tree"log" processor is close also.
I love seeing you and Wiley working together. He's got so much knowledge about these old diesel pieces of equipment. I feel like I'm getting smarter every time I watch one. God bless Hank. 👍😁🙏
Nice work Hank on y'all getting the skidder running and moving from setting for awhile I'm glad to see people do that on old equipment instead of just letting them seat there and go to waste metal
Love how the Young lad Jason was turning the steering while he was cranking it over lol. Go 4 it brilliant sounds good enough to me. Be a good Machine with some Tlc 👌👍
I think that is awesome you guys getting all those old machines running after all the years they sit there that is so cool thank you keep up the good work
Well, I must say, most times you never hear anyone say God Bless! Etc. It's nice not to hear some cussing going on , etc.!!! Great job, and stay safe! Have a blessed day!

Been a logger since high school(10 years) and ran most skidders under the sun and my favorites were a 95 540GIII grapple and a 99 Timberjack 360 grapple. That’ll make a good buggy for someone
Hard to beat a tight TJ 360 or 450! We ran a 360 on small tires for winching exclusively, the 450 ran both grapple & winching. That 380 would track like a machine twice it's size!
I do like your videos, knowledge of so much plant, your humour and respect for each other is clear always. Kind regards from Croy, near inverness highlands of Scotland.

Enjoyed the video hank ! Awesome watching y’all getting those old machines up and running again Would love to come down and hang out with y’all for a day Y’all have a good one 👍
A penny works really good. Just take pliers and bend it a tad then push it inside the cable terminal and down over the post then tighten. Works great in a pinch
As a kid growing up in a logging town in Louisiana...this was my first car go kart four wheeler etc..old cat skidder at 12 years old pulling trees to the pulpwood station ..this old baby's are tanks
Hello all, new subscriber here sent over from Matt @dieselcreek . Enjoyed watching this video and the content. I appreciate the clean language and Christ honoring attitudes. Looking forward too watching many more.. God bless brothers.
Nothing better than an old John Deere skidder. I love my timberjack but I’d love to have this unit! Another successful job from the Hamiltonville boys!
The reason for sight glasses is in an effort to get people to check fluid levels. Before they would not check levels because it was to much of a hassle.

@@HamiltonvilleFarm why did you shake the steering wheel while you were cranking the skidder ? How does that help it to start ?
Yes! Y’all come on down!
