Well, I saw how you first drew the outline of the vase, but my brush just doesn't want to reproduce the perfect round shape that you created afterwards. Would a drawing compass or a small saucer be adequate aids, is that acceptable in professional painting ? God bless you, I wish you a pleasant new week.💖

Hi dear cora thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the still life. Achieving a perfect round shape can be tricky, especially with a brush. Using a drawing compass or a small saucer as a guide is definitely a great idea and perfectly acceptable, even in professional painting. Many artists use tools and tricks to help with accuracy, so don't hesitate to use whatever works best for you. Over time, you'll develop the skill to do it freehand, but until then, feel free to use any aids that help you achieve the result you want. Keep practicing, and happy painting! ❤🌹
