    This is so clear and helpful. I've never added a zipper to anything, because I always assumed it would be really challenging!! I'm going to try this now!

    Great instructions, thank you. I would recommend lining up the bottom of thr pouch to the folded edge of the fabric. You dont need to cut that edge only to have to sew it back together.

    Did you glue the green lining to the crochet pouch as well?

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  11 месяцев назад +1

      If it’s one that I demonstrated how to glue, then yes. I’m not sure which one you’re asking about because I showed a couple of variations in this video and the previous one.
      If I sewed the liner, then I sewed it to the pouch too. If I glued the liner, I glued to the pouch too.
      So , really do what you like. Mix and match if it’s easier for you . 💕

    ❓❓❓...
    I sew a little bit and have wanted to make a pouch but my sewing machine is not accessible at the moment. I absolutely love the idea of being able to glue everything together. What kind of glue do you use? Can I use E6000 or B7000 glue? Both are flexible glues. Thanks again. 😊

    Hello ma'am i am new to crocheting did you have to cut the ends of the zipper to attach it onto the lining of the pouch? Or is that not nessecary ? Thank you in advance for the response !

      It’s an industrial strength glue …you can find the link to the specific one I used in the companion video for this one. I believe it’s called Aleene’s fabric fusion. The original video will give you the specifics ❤️

    How do you deal with the "tails" of the zipper. Even if I cut them off, Mine never lay right as I am sewing they are not meeting up or scrunching this way and that very difficult for me to sew. Any advice

    How do you determine what size zipper you need ? Do you get a zipper that is the same length as your project? A zipper that is a little smaller ?

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  7 месяцев назад +1

      I bought the zipper and then designed the bag size around it . So the one you see in the video is a standard size that you can find most places . 7 inch.
      Here is a link to the first video , you can find an Amazon link in the description box to basic zippers if you can’t find them. 💕

      This might be a little late, but if you get a nylon zipper you can actually adjust it to the size you want! All you have to do is see a line across the two sides of the zipper where you want the adjusted end to be, and then cut the extra off about an inch after the line you sewed. Works great!!

    При раскрое внутренней части сумочки вы сделали ошибку: раскрой ткани производится с края ткани, а не с середины. Слишком много ткани при такой раскрое остаётся кусочками, которые выбрасываются.
