Wow! Daily videos of the Monaco yacht show! Many semi-favorites; most unfavored, Artifact, what you called the Marmite® yacht ... Awaiting tomorrow's installment. Thank you and regards.
It's difficult to choose a favorite as I'd be ecstatic to be on any of them, or even wandering on the docks just to see their beauty and enormity in real-life.
Brilliant man, fantastic video i watched it 3 times. Thanks for taking the time to bring us the show. If you get a chance it would be good to see the new toys and electrics for 2021.
Great coverage as always. The 5 year build for IJE was a year longer than expected with major cost over runs. Led to the breakup of the friendship between the Owner and his best mate from school days who was in charge of the build. The good news is the friendship is now restored.
Greetings from Colorado! Good to see you, brother- especially at the Monaco Show. I feel like you're becoming an old and familiar friend. Between this channel and your GT3/automotive channel, I really look forward to the sound of your voice and the content of your videos. In the tumultuous and chaotic world where we live, your voice is like a soothing summer breeze through my day. Thanks for all your hard and generous work...
Nice video!! The blue hull boat in front of st Jean cap ferrat was Ulysse the same one with the grey hull but shorter is renamed andromede, the previous Ulysse
I’ve done a google search for how aluminum super structures are attached to steel hulls but found nothing pertinent. If you could explain the process in one of you Q&A sessions it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for such a great channel.
If you ever get a chance to tour Neoprene’s sister ships I’d love to see that video. Anyway; your the one producer that we can hit the like button before we see the video because they have all been good.
Great show as usual and thanks. It would be nice to see the history of superyachts back to Cheops etc. I think there must be some data on this. I remember seeing a very large schooner, over 100' and named Cynthia, in Long Beach California area back in the late 60s and early 70s. I wonder what became of her...Thanks again, Thailand Paul
Wow. "Bold" shares a lot of looks with "Skat", huh? I ran "Ije" through Google translate ... NADA. I LOVE "Artifact"! The visual cues of the window shapes and placement, and the superstructure accents on the deck edges are simply beautiful! SO SEXY and unique! I'm not sure if they are going to show up there, but I was hoping that you would get to see my two favorite white boats ("Tranquility" and "OKTO"). But, Vessel Finder says one is at Antibes, and the other off Capri, respectively. (On charters, I'd bet) Oh well, I'm sure you'll bump into them sometime. I'm really glad the smoke/ash/gases from La Palma haven't reached Monaco! Hope you enjoyed your drive back up the coast! LOVE this channel!
We do appreciate your time and effort, maybe you should put together a tour and take a few of us along with you next time! Also I understand that it helps the algorithm if you download the video. Well worth it and thank you
Thank you for your remarkable work ! I’ve always love yachts and boats since my grandfather was a marine here in French army and taught me the love of beautiful vessels . Every years when i was a child we use to go to Monaco to see all the yachts and to me it was better than any other attractions in the world . I wish I could have been in Monaco this year , as I don’t live to far from there . For sure next year I’ll be there and maybe I’ll get a chance to run into you ! 🙏🏻🚢🛳🛥😍😍😍
Superb footage, showing yachts I didn't see in other MYS videos! 175 million euros for yacht IJE almost seems reasonable. Broker David Seal stated a 2,999 gt yacht from Holland or Germany now costs around 200 million euros. IJE is 10% bigger, and swift delivery. Multi level pool perhaps means the floor of the pool can be raised to deck level?
I never would've thought I would learn about animal pee from watching the Monaco Yacht show. =) On a side note, I'm surprised they didn't bring Luminosity to the show.
Got a question regarding interior tours of those big yachts (Kismet/Artifact etc.). Can you as an youtuber enter and film their interiors + publish it here, or are those tours only for potential buyers? How is the right to enter such boat (with or without filming) given, and based on what grounds? Thank you!
I asked every boat. I contacted them weeks before to ask for access. Either no reply or a negative reply. Except for the few I did get on. I have another to come.
@@YachtReport That is quite sad that they haven´t even replied. I am still wondering what could motivate them to allow public tour. I can imagine that potential buyers of those AAA yachts do not prefer to have the interiors disclosed in public, yet there are examples where even bigger yacht owners allowed it (like superyacht TIS presented by youtuber "The Yacht Guy")
Urea acually increases the amount of nitrogen in the exhaust of Diesel engines. The high temperature of Diesel engines leads to the partial conversion of air into nitrogen oxides. Urea is used to convert these nitrogen oxides back to gaseous nitrogen. Fun fact is that urea can be found in many skin lotions.
In Roman times tanners, the men who made leather from animal skins, and also dyed the leather, kept large pots in front of their shops. Men were encouraged to pee into the pot. Their pee was a necessary part of the tanning process. The street pot obtained free urine for the tanner, and the men walking past got a place to a quick pit stop, instead of watering a roadside bush or the side of a building. The urine odor was inconsequential compared to the acrid odors of other chemicals used in the tanning process. While nobody wanted to live next door to a tanner, the community was the better for having an outdoor urinal, at least until it came time to dump the urine and other tanning liquidsf.
Thanks for the great coverage. I would really like to know the experiences within the superyacht world with Tier 3 emission systems. To this day, heavy equipment and trucks/lorries continue to have constant issues with the urea systems and engine regeneration that is required to burn off the contaminates. What does one do when you are stuck in the middle of the ocean?
That outro scenery was amazing. I still think your audio is off. I have to adjust volume between scenes where you talk and when you play music. The music sections are too loud.
Thank you for your coverage of the Monaco Yacht Show. Hopefully one day I will be a client of Feadship, Lurssen or Oceanco. Till that Day your RUclips videos is as close I can get now to the MYS.
How do you feel about tier 3? Makes you want to order your yacht before that becomes mandatory. G I feel that globally marinas are not set up for DEF and may cause some travel issues if not carefully planned.
Mate..be fun if you can video the progress of the Portier Cove project…curious if Covid-19 delayed them much as I’m not back until Mis Rona is retired..😳😳😷😷😷
Do you know why Paul had this built. Well at the time this was the size the largest size they would allow on the dock at the Monaco show. Mr. Allen was famous for lots of things but his parties were infamous. Then they started letting larger yachts on the docks however, it was against the rules to fly helicopters from any boat docked. So he started bringing both to the show. He put this on dock left Octopus on the hook. I would have loved to attend one of his parties.
You're correct about Paul Allen's heir: his sister Jodi. In addition to the yachts, and a whole lot of money, her inheritance from him included the Seattle Seahawks.
@@jasongold708 Are the Trailblazers doing as badly without an active owner as the Seahawks are? Jodi wants nothing to do with the team; she pays the bills and leaves it alone. It's causing problems, because somebody really needs to be able to tell Pete Carroll 'No' once in a while, and Paul Allen was the only one in a position to do it. Jodi won't get involved.
@@marcelohendrix6139 I don't say that she should be playing GM or anything. But the owner has to be the one who chooses coach and general manager, holds them to account, and replaces them if they're not doing their jobs effectively. When Paul Allen owned the team, Carroll knew there was somebody in the world who could say No to him and whom he'd have to listen to if he wanted to keep his place. It limited the wild fancies and kept him accountable for results. Since Allen died, Carroll has fired everyone on the team who dared to tell him to his face when he's being stupid, and the result is the kind of start we're having now.

I made a mistake on the price of this TV folks, the actual price is €699,000 euros for the one seen here!

I love watching your videos. Everything from Peru to all the technical on the super yachts. Keep them coming!

It definitely is but to me it looks odd shaped with strange windows. But of course it’s all a matter of taste.

that TV, though! omg.
