Inferno on Strength builds is bugged. Even with max strength, its only hitting at 1/4th what it should do. Fire staff might be great, but Inferno isn't drawing from the Strength attribute like it says it supposed to do.
Fire staff is not nearly as strong as you think, if you are wherein full opal plus the less damage from ranged element attacks like you should have then you don’t do much damage. Bow in my opinion will be most fire staff players any day. Bow does way more damage has no cool down has haste stuns and unlimited range plus faster time to hit lol. I think instead of nerfing they should buff Les used weapons.
What bow are you using with no CDs, unlimited range and uber op damage? You must not play much, if you did you would know fire staff is a huge problem and it needs its damage tuning
@@RegionYTanything AOE is easy. The problem with FS isn’t the dmg. It’s the low af CDs that let you spam that damage. Also, FS hitbox is huge, every ability can be cast half blindly. I played bow for 3000hrs and recently tried FS, FS is dog turd easy in comparison. Just push, spam abils, backbar ig entomb, reset CDs, spam again, heavy attack with massive hitbox and get a passive poison shot just for hitting an enemy. FS is ez mode.

That's what I'm waiting for them to fix so I can have some fun builds.
@@Mr.Nubtastic It will still always be weaker than INT unfortunately. STR attribute bonuses just don't mesh at all with the weapon.

@@Osmosis909 Boltcaster has unlimited range. Basically it is old musket.
the fire staff doesn't need a buff it needs a NERF

Finisher/pestilence is still the best combo with fs, better than u using inferno with legendary rapier
