So nice to hear something new from Moonweed. His New Jerusalem is one of all-time favorite albums. I love it, and so do my pigs. I still have an ancient vinyl copy that is one of my most treasured possessions. Ride on, Boogie Child!
Bruce who I met through the travelling introduced me and Kathy at the time introduced me to Tim Blake never heard this before but love it reminds me of great trips and free festivals
How can something that small be so powerful and amazing , that's why music like this exists, the joy of living "Lives of great men all remind us we can make our lives sublime, and, departing, leave behind us footprints in the sands of time"Henry Wadsworth Longfellow American poet 1807-1882.
Tim Blake inspired those other guys.....who first started taking synths from the studio to the stage??? In the early days a moog took 5 minutes to warm up-that was in the days before pre-set synths.
5 mins is nothing for a giant moog, you’re gonna need a couple hours before it’s fully stable. Yeah Tim was a pioneer, using the EMS Synthi to fantastic effect in Gong.

toujours égal à lui même. Fantastique.
wow - I love New Jerusalem and Crystal Machine - and I'm amazed that this has that lovely warm phasey 70s feel to it. Thanks!
Merci, kaisaid1, pour la découverte. Je ne connaissais pas cet album non plus.
Wow, didn't even know of this album. From 2002 but sounding right out of the mid-late 70s. Thanks!

Thought that was Hawkwind!
@@MrBlueSky474 it was hawkwind assault and battery but the lyrics were indeed a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow !
Sans Tim Blake, il n'y aurais pas eu des groupes comme Ozric Tentacle, Hydria spacefolk...! ENJOY!!!
No guitars on this track kaisaid. It's Tim playing his Roland AX Keytar.
Thank you for letting me know! I will fix the description right away.

@@graxjpg thanks for sharing that with us......
Zac Funstein indeed, a big moog like the ones popular in the 70s would benefit from never being powered off! Very nuanced circuitry.
@@graxjpg do we have any record of Blakes reaction to the first synths sans valves?
Zac Funstein not that I’m aware of. I’m sure it’d be similar to my reaction to valve powered synths!
