With the advent of the 12-team playoff, the Ohio State game isn't as significant on its own any more. Losing it reduces our margin for error, but there may be no team in America that takes care of business when it should more often than we do.

The kid has traits. With Ty Howle that’s all we need. Plus he can learn and develop behind guys like Reynolds, Dinkins and Rapplyea. If they can’t get Olesh this is a good second option

I too will trust the staff. But, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the people most critical of this recruiting class are the ones who aren't contributing to NIL. If we aren't top 10 in NIL its delusional to expect a top 10 class and then top 10 results.
Pa doesn't have that many recruits anymore. Pa used to produce the third most talent. Now we are not even top 10. Georgia has 49 4 and 5 star recruits. Pa has 9 and zero 5 stars.

Tyler Warren was a 3 start prospect recruited because of his basketball tape. Now he’s the best TE arguably in Penn State history and close to top 5 Heisman consideration.
Things are going to change for next 20 yrs with nil 12 team for recruiting the days of Alabama OSU get bay far the most top players isint happening anymore. Top players will go to the other top teams Georgia Oregon Penn state Texas and not mostly Alabama OSU. Then we will see an even playing field finnaly. Just need to cap the nil salary cap to keep Texas OsU from tring to buy it.
