I feel like whimsigoth is the style I've been looking for since I was a teen in the 2010s! I've always liked a mix of grunge, goth, flowy, and thrifted "ugly" clothing XD.
WE LOVE UGLY COMFY CLOTHES
It's so funny. This style is so versitile. I love neon colors so I wear them but in a modern witch way. Love moons, suns, bugs, florals and layers. I was very into boho chic with goth vibes as a teen so this is up my alley 😊 Just with tons of colors !!!
Sameee, i feel so seen now tbh i love it
I'm a very young at heart 50 year old woman and for as long as I remember, this has been my favorite way to dress. It just feels more authentic to who I am. I had my career in the corporate world and of course had to dress to fit into that world. Now that I have left that world I've naturally gone back to the whimsigoth dress sense. It is great to be home, may aswell be me, even as an older educated woman
Same same same!!!
Same here too!!!
53, and yeah. We could so swap closets. My small work closet, tailored suits with stovepipe leg trousers some twinsets.
My LIFE closet? All this, evolving happily since about 1988. 😊😊😊
Jjjep!
59!
It's also very age inclusive. I can see a 10 year old girl playing with this as well as older 60+ women ( who pioneered it in the first place) and everyone in between. They will all look great and make it suit their lifestyle.
Still rocking it at 63 here!❤
I'm so glad to see this style is alive and well again. I'm gen X and have been dressing like this since around 1989. Back then it was called fairy goth, fantasy goth or hippy goth. My friends and I loved the style because it made our situation clear; we weren't career girls, we were too busy making jam and chasing fairies in the woods. A few things we did I haven't seen much or anything of lately... cut the feet off knee-high socks to make them arm warmers, or cut the crotch out of tights (black sheer or fishnet) and boom, you got a top. There was a lot of altering, dyeing (tie-dyed nightgowns were IT) and scissor-hacking going on. The '2010s' bag made me laugh as I remember them from the 90s too! 😆
@@beepwrld oh yay the leg wear for arms lives!! 😆 I'm still discovering the whimsygoth world, I only just learned of the term and have been getting by on searches for dark boho 😅
omg we loved that tights as a top thing. i feel so nostalgic seeing it come back.
On that Part! I need Friends like yours in my Life🤭
I'm definitely wearing parts of this style but more boho and neon/colorful. I bet you looked amazing all these years🌻🌻🌻 It's such a universal and adaptable style. But I gotta say I have gone to corporate meeting for quality control with blue lipstick and huge moon earrings. After a while they get used to it 😅 To me dressing the way you feel helps your productivity!
The goth community still does the tights top rhings alot for fishnet tops n such!
I like to think of it as goth but with colours
More casual goth than romantic goth, just romantic goth without corset 😆
Goth already includes color! Typically darker ones, but still. And originally, goth used a lot of neon colors.
Yes!
@@MademoiselleCl3 you can had a corset ,i do it on top of a boho dress...
Isnt it Boho+Gothic?
Can we please make a mention of « The Craft »? The costuming in that movie is absolutely fantastic and iconic for the Whimsy gothic look
Ugh yess!!!! I love the craft, it’s one of my favorite movies!! I Especially love😊 their beautiful outfits
I’m glad I’m not the only “older lady” watching this! I graduated high school in 1990, and have been dressing like this since the late 80s. I still have a high Level career, but I incorporate what I can while still looking professional. But off the clock, I’m all in! 💫🌙💫
ah yes, the Cool Witchy Auntie look.
An aunt since as long as I can remember, I've always gravitated towards this style. A bit less nowadays because my life requires more practical clothing than long flowy skirts (I've moved in the Ranger direction) but I can't fathom how this is not just The Basic Style that everybody wears at home.
"psychologically uncomfortable" who, ME?! COULDN'T BE!
beeeeeps! i loved this!!!! esp. your analysis at the end. such a good point that our witchy-idols of the 90s were just "normal people" with extraordinary skills. we aspired to be them because we feel, in our heart of hearts, that we're also normal people with something special inside. & it's true! lovely video, friend.
Wow! I used to have so many pieces that could create this aesthetic. I was inspired by Phoebe from friends , Stevie Nicks, as well as the 90s. I now realize I was trying to create this aesthetic, but could never really bring it to fruition. It would either look very 90s, boho, or modern witchy.
I loved this video! ✨
I have been in love with this aesthetic since the day I was born. As an adult, I've been able to actually work towards a wardrobe that focuses on the kinds of person I am at heart. But, as a slightly chunkier girl with very large breasts, I'm glad you mentioned "skinny white girls" in the negatives. It's not impossible to get this aesthetic if you're not a skinny white girl, but when that's all you see on social media it is a bit intimidating to put together an outfit you're comfortable stepping into public in. I'd love love love to see more people in all shapes sizes and colors embrace this aesthetic! I've tried emulating outfits I've seen, but they just never seem right for me. Layering, for example, is tough with big boobs. It just adds too much bulk. I've started embracing crop tops, but they're sometimes very difficult to style with my body type. It's a struggle, man...
My F cup and I agree 😭
im whimsygothic and a size 16- im not sure what size you are and it for sure is a little harder, but i feel i pull it off at my size and i hope that inspires you 🤎
@forestfairy8025 omg it does inspire me, thank you!!! 💕💕💕 I've been slowly working my way into it, I've got some nice pieces that fit the aesthetic well that I feel confident in. I appreciate you and your words of encouragement ✌️💕
I just love jewel tones
As a witch and a 90’s kid, I absolutely LOVE that this style is back gaining popularity again. I’ve pretty much dressed like this since I was a kid (lots of layers, lots of cardigans, tons of moons and stars patterns and motifs etc.), so I’m happy to be able to easily find clothes of this style in mainstream stores. Though thrifting is still my preferred method of shopping, it is nice to that more handmade clothing designers are experimenting with this style too.
1). Yes! The 2010s patchwork slouchy bag brought me back.
2). Your blush looks so pretty in this video. The apricot on your skin tone? 10/10
3). Love that you touched on the cultural/political implications of this style. My fav vid so far
Oh my goodness! I’ve been trying to find the correct name for this style for SO long! This style is me at my core, I feel like it’s so true to who I am. I’m so glad I finally have a name to look up so I can find all the pieces to craft my dream wardrobe 😭😭🤍🤍
You have to mention Kate Bush if you are going to talk about Whimsy Goth!! She rocked this look for ages :)
The patterns got me. At a distance, a white top. But the lace up close.
The lacy corset top is mostly black, but there's roses. Cute cute cute.
If there's anything to add, tights! I know efashion seems to own tights right now, but sage and maroon. Even sheery black tights.
I DESPARATELY wanted “the bag” as a teen! As someone who isn’t a huge fan of black and darker fashion, this is a cool way for me to shake things up and incorporate things I’m comfortable with (patterns, funky fabrics) with an edgier side of fashion.
I've been dressing like this since the 90s with a more darker/goth vibe, i was both a 90s kid then teen. I lived and still live this life, haven't stopped and won't be stopping.
me too! 🌻
this is definitely my style.. fully inspired by the medieval revival and garage rock of the 60s. bell sleeves, lace, square/sweetheart necklines... and spiral motifs ofcourse
This makes me smile, I’ve dressed like this since high school….in the 70’s. Of course our denim was bell bottom back then. I’m white haired now (but it’s still long). For many years I was “out of style” but this is just me. I sew so I’ve always made my own clothes.
As someone who lived through the first iteration of this trend in the 90s, here was the whimsiigoth uniform that I remember: Dark Marten boots with heavy tights, something like velvet or layers of socks and tights...those witch legs get cold riding on brooms. Also stripey socks of course and cat/bat/spider web themes as prints on socks all year long, not just Halloween, A skater skirt or mini dress with a skater skirt, a black mesh top with a black tank top layered over it, jewelry: those crystal ball necklaces on a piece of silky string instead of a chain and Victorian style earrings and rings (with lots of blown glass beads and detailed metal/scrollwork on a silver colored metal of some kind). Black was the basic color but lots of jewel tones paired with black. The elements that looked "off" to me in your outfits were things like denim/chambray/patchwork and the head scarf. All of those things fit into "hippie, granola, bohemian etc. Of course things evolve so it's interesting to see one trend get absorbed into another...
I wore all of those except the stripey socks. I would layer a button up long flowing skirt unbuttoned, over a shorter skirt.
I miss my basket top hat 😅
ugh that bag,im here for the craft revival aesthetic but i so quickly shuttered and turned off the lights when THAT BAG showed up. art school trigged nightmares
I love this aesthetic, I only heard the term recently and was calling my style "bohemian goth." I do carry a bit over from the goth style as well as the gothic era.
This explanation is PHENOMENAL!!! You covered all the bases!
Apparently this is a style I wear and have worn for years (YES I still have my fabric Boho messenger bag made in Nepal) and I did not know this was the “name” of this style!
I love heavy boho skirts from Agan Traders, with combat boots, lots of layering pieces, crystal jewelry, a rancher/boho hat, earthy colors, jewel tones, leather or faux fur, vintage/retro or Victorian nods in styling (teensy bit of Steampunk), moons and stars 🌙💫✨, wild and free hairstyles, scarves in my hair, long pashmina scarves, peasant dresses and 3-tier dresses, butterflies 🦋, and anything handmade or eclectic. My house is filled with houseplants, trees, crystals, essential oils, and natural fibers and textures. 🌿🌲🪴
For years I've been dressing in this style and with it's recent rise in popularity it's nice to finally know a name to call my style
It's always funny to find out that all my different clothing styles seem to have a name and a subculture in the English-speaking world...
totally unrelated but your username is awesome
This is perfect!
I've always been drawn to anything bohemian/witchy/grunge but never quite knew what you'd call it. 😍
Rachel True from Half and Half is another fashion icon with this aesthetic ❤
I spent all of my teens and half my 20s wearing black. I’m over it. Ironically now in my 30’s I’m into lighter more “youthful” colors, I guess, lots of pastels, but I style them in a very boho-witchy sort of way. Which is why I am soooo into this aesthetic, I mean, first off I absolutely love the 90’s and who doesn’t want to be a witch? The only thing that kinda keeps it from being 100% my favorite, is the use of darker colors mostly. I am just very over the dark colors, been there, done that, I want to wear pink and white for once. So basically I’m like a pastel whimsigoth. I’ve been calling myself a “soft cosmic hippie” for a while now but it’s basically this just…lighter.
That’s a great term to describe your style….
The BAG! I just remembered I actually did have one in HS that I got off a street vendor!
This whole thing was so my exactly vibe, since I love a long skirt and some (earthy) nature motifs. Bandanas are great too, but I tend to roll them and tie them around my neck- it's a great option if you're going casual and not feeling jewelry and never looks out of place. Also, I got a kick seeing some of my follows, or stuff I've pinned for ages pop up (though I really need to check out Stevie Nicks.)
If you end up doing another one of those designer videos, Anna Sui would be a cool topic!
My best friend and I have been calling this hippie Goth/boho Goth since the Tumblr days so discovering the term ‘whimsigoth’ was a boon. Definitely a cuter name. 🌛
Can you please talk about iranian/persian aesthetic and style???
It's actually very beautiful and kind of underrated.
I would be very thankful if you would cover this genre!!❤❤❤❤❤
I love how in addition to the actual outfit segment you served looks while talking as well! Good job on introducing this style to someone like me who hasn't paid much attention to it. I sat through the whole video being well entertained while gaining new information~
I had two of those bags and I wore them to literal stitches 😭😭😭 I LOVED those bags
Love the video! Love the look as well. I have waist length salt and pepper hair and I wear a lot of the styles that are considered boho, witchy (Stevie Nicks) and regardless of my age I still wear dangling earrings, stones, feathers and a lot of silver.
@@beepwrld My clients love it, my husband not so much! lol
love this aesthetic so much, for some reason i feel like coraline is very whimsigoth 🌑🌙🌸🎂⭐️🌟💫🍀🍂
You gave so many great looks! I love this aesthetic especially compared to the more plain looking clean girl or coastal grandma aesthetics.
I love whimsigoth! I always liked fairy grunge but I knew that I needed to alter it in some way to make it better for me so the witchy vibe with whimsigoth saved me
I love your hair color in this video and am amazed at the difference in your overall appearance vs current. Both are good. This is stunning.
Finally, I found the name of my style! Anytime someone asks me about my style I never find a suitable name to it. Thanks so much for doing the research and breaking it down:) much love from Germany!!
I didn’t know this aesthetic had a name but it’s always been a favourite of mine, I don’t really wear it myself but I aim to do it a little more
I think you perfectly explained this style trend! I personally LOVE whimsigoth and feel like it describes my personal style to a T, so I loved watching this video! I never thought about the reasons why its become popular now, so that was cool to think about! thank you for making this video!!
love your hair in this video!! looks so good xx
That sparkly bell sleeve dark blue top was just stunning. No words really. It really sums up the 90s for me. I used to wear bell sleeve tops a lot, and I remember some sparkly items I had.
Thank you so much for explaining whimsy gothic concept. It's been my favorite for a very long time :)
OMG! I finally have a NAME for my style and a DIRECTION for my wardrobe!!! THANK YOU!
This is EXACTLY what I wanted/thought I looked likr as a elementary/middle schooler. Absolutely ADORE experimrnting with layering, patterns, and flowy figures!! I just am a tad hesitant as a mid to plus sized queer gendered individual...... However, I can't wait to see it grow as gen Z starts to really dive into it 🎉
I like this type of video! I enjoy some academics sprinkled in :-) Nice job!!
I do really like this aesthetic, and how it is mostly positive and much less appropriative than others. Yay, positive nostalgia!
I'm always down for dressing like Stevie Nicks or Phoebe Buffay!
Ah yes, this takes me back to my teens. I was a teen in the mid to late 90's and I have some pieces in wardrobe that would go in well with this aesthetic. I am so glad.
How many more words are there going to be to describe hippie fashion? Because that's essentially what this is.
This video is SO well done! I’ve seen others do whimsigoth videos and they showed good examples but did not put together whimsigoth outfits at all. I was pretty disappointed but you did so well! As soon as the whimsigoth word popped up I was like “yes this is me!! I love this!” It so pretty but comforting.
Note to self: buy scarves
This was fascinating, thank you! I dressed like this in the 90's but body issues/plus size kept me from full self expression. Now at 55, I have found myself lost as far as clothes/style are concerned, hiding away in things I don't like. But I recently realised that clothes can be part of my magical practice too. I had no idea there was a name for the style I was looking for but I knew I would know it when I saw it - this is it! It's going to be so much fun to make my outside look like how I feel on the inside.
This IS my aesthetic!!! Has been for years. Awesome video. Thanks so much!! (Jan Griffiths).
You had me at Practical Magic. Thank you for this video.. and also thank you for being real about the negs
This was the perfect rundown! I was teen at the end of this era, and still have flannel celestial sheets from when I went to college.
I use sheets all the time to make kimonos, dusters, tops, purses, etc. 😊
This totally describes my best friend but i feel it's based more in the 70s. She's adorable and it reflects her personality perfectly... I do wish i had a dollar for each time you kicked up your heels 😂
I think its super important to acknowledge that a lot of elements of this style (especially the bohemian parts) are very much taken from Romani culture. I dont think its bad to partake in the aesthetic, but do understand that a lot of it started with taking from Romani culture (and stereotypes 😬) and they are still an incredibly oppressed group. Whimsigoth can never really exist divorced from this influence because its kinda the entire basis for it.
The whimsigothical interior trends are also to die for, I think. Love to be weird on purpose!
I deeply appreciate this video.
The makeshift Hamtaro microphone is giving me so much joy!
I love this aesthetic especially the outfits with overalls, those are my favorites! And yeah, I wish it was more inclusive when it comes to its portrayal on the media. I think that Zoe Kravitz, has a little bit of that style on High Fidelity.
Well it's important to remember that because of these styles came from literally the 1990s and early 2000s when a certain look was mainstream, it's not surprising that there weren't much of any portrayals of ethnic minorities wearing this style and anecdotally, I don't really recall seeing black girls wearing these kinda looks where I lived growing up (context, I'm 31 years old so I mostly grew up in the mid-late 90s and 00s).
I think we'll definitely see some minority representation in todays time for sure, there's already a few on social media so the latter will follow with time (hopefully).
@@KaiDecadence I was thinking the same thing! skinny white girls were the m.o. for TV and film for our entire childhood and before that too. i'm glad that with tiktok etc. anyone can show themselves wearing whatever style they like - you don't need a show on MTV to be seen!
I love both overalls and her outfits
I do have my Guatamala backpack my Mom bought for me from Spencer's in the late 90's.
Thailand is another place to source the satchel you asked about.
I really like your analysis of the aestetic. Covid, idealizing the everydaylife, nature, the power. I love it!
I was born in late 1996 & ohh how I wish I could have been in my 20s during the mid to late 90s. This aesthetic is incredible. Plus all of the best shows & witchy movies from this time had the best outfits 😩😩🌜🌞 🔮
I just want to scream how gorgeous your handmade patchwork dress is.
AAAAAAAAAAAH STUNNING!!!
Thank you, I’m done
My aesthetic 🫶🏾🤭 also just subscribed because your energy is so cute but also when you called out the potential cultural appropriation and 2010s boho trend lol
Hum. I think I love you? I kinda wish this video went on for even longer! You explained and demonstrated everything so thoughtfully - I'm turning 32yo this summer and been feeling in a "meh" space with my personal style and I've been digging through it for some time now, and come to discover some things I like, which all align to this *whimsigoth* aesthetic. So I'm thrilled to have stumbled upon this video of yours! Please, make more videos like this one exploring other aesthetics!
Very nice! Since the 00's I've been a fan of the goth subculture and music; here I don't see that much resemblance to it in spite of the "goth" in the name, but some influence from the 90's goth style can be seen, which I really like, I love the bohemian and vintage influences too and always have liked these deep dark colors. And as for the similarities to the goth music scene, I think some can be found especially in the ethereal/neoclassical darkwave subgenres, such as e.g. Faith and the Muse.
My mother has always worn this kind of style (she's in her 60s now) and I'm about to turn 30 and wear it too! So much fun but still dark and we always focus heavily on thrifting/making almost all of it!
I love this style and I 100% agree the inclusion criticism, most of the people I see styling this have the same body shape. Any resources that you come across of more diverse whimsigoth would be appreciated! Maybe some crossovers?
I finally have a name to my aesthetic since the late 90s, haha! I'm 42 and have been dressing and decorating (especially) this way since I was a late teenager. I'm just so thankful to see a more variety with sizes. It was so hard back then to find clothing that would fit my 5'10 self.
that figurine you have on top of your mic, I had the exact same toy when I was a kid. I remember it so vividly - this video is the first one that I clicked when searching for whimsical styles!
Your entire analysis feels so spot on! I love this ❤
As someone who was in her 20's in the early 90s - and was a Riot Grrrl, I was also expressly "witchigothic" (still am - mostly). You had a lot good valid points. Some you that that you missed or weren't quite as I remember them (read: subjective - we all have our own perspective, this is mine). You missed the opportunity to layer in tights and/or leggings. These were go-tos... there weren't a lot of bare legs (bellies - yes, shoulders - yes, bozums - yes). Also, while media was skinny girl focused - I can assure you that us curvier girls were definitely on board with this look. Wicca and goddess culture (girl power) was a big part of that time. Lots of missteps by today's standards (i.e. appropriation wasn't something really talked about yet) and of course, much experimentation (like every generation). I think my only other "catch" was there was a LOT less lighter colors than you brought out in your stylings. But that could be where my line between the the "witchy" verusus the "granola" side of that time ended up. I tended to darker colors in fashion but lighter colors in my environment. Anyhoo -- nice synopsis. It's always interesting to see how younger folk view the world as it was when I was their age .... and how our perspectives / opinions align and diverge. :)
You can get those cool bags from Gypsy Rose!
I just realized that so much of this describes my style, except in a much more "masculine", androgynous way. I have several clothing items that are like the ones you talked about, but just with a more masculine cut and not as many skirts or dresses; instead flow pants.
Fashion is so cool:)
Knocked it out of the park! I love this video so much I'm fighting the urge
to create a bunch of dummy accounts just so I can thumbs up this video again and
again! lol I'm just so glad this aesthetic is trending because as someone who has
always loved it, it really warms my heart and makes me feel validated that
others enjoy it too. Way before I knew it was a derogatory slur, I used to call my
decorating style "victorian g*psy witch" so it's nice to finally have a legitimate,
respectful name for it. My day to day clothing style is way more practical/comfy
just because of my job but I always said, if I could, I would dress like Stevie Nicks
everyday. Gotta save those outfits for my days off.
love this! Trying to explore and find my style and I loved this analysis. It was very helfpul!
So I really appreciate how you went about explaining this style, you were very thorough and you really knew what you were talking about. I only mention the last part because I remember this other video that tried to explain the style and I'm sorry but the person was clueless, didn't know any of the references of what inspired the looks or anything beyond a basic sophomore level so this was a nice surprise to see something so detailed in explanation. I also appreciate how you didn't conflate this with the Goth scene because as someone who actually is a part of it and has been for 16 years now, it really is irritating when people conflate it as some "goth" style when it isn't and has nothing to do with the music-based subculture of Goth at all. So I'm thankful that you referred to the style accurately as "WhimsiGothic" as opposed to "Whimsigoth" because it definitely does fit more into the "Gothic" style what with it having some throwback to the Renaissance period with certain patterns and silhouettes (The peasant blouses and vest-style bustiers).
And finally I appreciate how you didn't say that this style was some new thing when it's been around for 20+ years, it's just that there was no clear cut name for it back then and I'm just glad you gave credit where credit is due by naming off references that utilized and influenced this style.
Me personally, I sorta started incorporating some of this kinda stuff last year into my personal style though I admit that I didn't know of the term at the time and was just going off outfits that I liked from shows I was re-watching like 90s Sabrina the Teenage Witch (mostly Aunt Zelda and some of Sabrina) as well as Misty Day with her Bohemian inspired look which I wanted to try for a long while but just never got around to it until last year haha. And of course, I have thrown in some Stevie Nicks inspired influences as well. And just the general 1970s and 1990s in general. Also in much more recent, some nods to Willow from Buffy haha. Honestly the only thing I wish I had more of in my personal wardrobe is more velvet but it's tough finding velvet pieces in my sizes lol.
But yeah all that said, very nice video, easily one of the best and most respectable analysis for the style out there.
@@beepwrld You're very welcome! Just had to give credit where credit is due haha.
Yeah, I think some people miss out that the "gothic" doesn't refer to the goth subculture at all. It's more of a boho + grunge + renaissance revival via your cool art teacher moment. Though there are definitely branches of goth music that mesh with it!
@@katyp564 right lol
"We're Experts At This Point." I love that haha
i just came across your channel and this video had just been uploaded, lovely coincidence. i loved the outfits you put together,
This is like...oh wow, my aesthetic has an actual name FINNNNALLY
omg this one is so me. i love lisa bonet, anita pallenburg, stevie nicks etc. that glam rock, boho, rock chick, mystical vibe is my go-to. it goes a little boho hippie tribal when i'm by the beach as well. also great breakdown of why this look is so appealing now, i do think humanity is waking up to our spiritual power more and more and especially with the events of the last few years and the increasing levels of disclosure people are becoming much more interested in studying occult wisdom.
i’ve never heard of this aesthetic before (i can never keep up with all the new aesthetics these days haha) but this was so interesting!!
like with many kind of subculture's fashions it can often be a way for young woman to express their aversion to conformist, sanitized, mechanistic, seemingly soulless society. like you said they want to bring some magic to the world and show that they stand for something different. it is material afterall, but it can be a great gateway for many young women to live an authentic, expressive and artful life. if only we don't stop at the material and become just the same as all other consumerist cultures.
7:40 Omg this is my second time watching this video and now I realized I found one of those tote bags a couple of months ago on a thrift store, it´s now my go to bag 😂
I just found a name for my style hurray ! 🎀🌺🧝🏻♀🧚🏻♀🌻🌞🌛
I have the jacket equivalent of "that bag". I just love it! Only problem is that the zipper will not stay zipped... But it's just so cute that I give it a pass haha
I absolutely love this aesthetic and I'm so happy to see it everywhere! It makes me happy! ❤
i just found your channel in the last week and have been watching a bunch of your videos and i gotta say this was one of my favorite videos from you!! really loved the way you explained things and it was so fun to follow along! thank you for the ~academical vibes~ 💚
I appreciated your depth and intellectual viewpoints in this video. Thank you for making this more REAL and GENUINE than FAKE FAST TRENDY FASHION focused. Mentioning covid and "magic in reality" as part of why this style is in mainstream makes a lot of sense and, I believe, is an important point. Back to our root and introspection is part of this aesthetic. Thank you for your research and work.

As a pagan, this style really resonates with me. I love it
Yesssss this is my absolute soul level aesthetic and I’m trying to transition my wardrobe to it!! Makes sense too that so many of my favorite musicians/actresses/characters wear it ☺️ also I know this is an old video, but hot damn your hair looks so good platinum!!
I'd love to try this somehow! From my (pretty normie) existing wardrobe maybe I can pull out some paisley and patterns in general, cardigans, one flowy skirt, some eggplant and earthy colored things. Maybe I can pretend I'm a bit of whimsigothic gal myself :D
As a person who usually wears this aesthetic I love the style ✨ 🌙
Nice to have a word to describe my middle school to high school style that I still use nowadays. LOL
Growing up i always called this style “twitches clothing” 😂. I was close enough to
