- Bait was migrating down the beach that the stingrays, sharks and redfish were all after. Started fishing off the jetties when I should have been on the beach. We are going surf fishing next time, might be a bit dangerous.

Hello. I am a farmer here in mi. Watching your videos has kept me from going nuts as a result of my fathers demise. It’s hard loosing someone who has been with you for 50 + years. Thank you for the videos. I have never fished in the ocean. It is very cool to see all the stuff you hook. I miss my dad . Thank you for the videos.
Fished the south jetties at PA last Saturday. Didn’t catch anything on spoons but did catch a 35” bull red on cut bait. It was worth the 7 hour drive down there. Keep on fishing and keep on making these videos 👍
I just watched a video of yours from 2016, crazy how your video quality has improved since then!
Thanks!
I love how you added the jaws music with the sharks it goes super good and you make me want to fish even more.
idk about y’all but its just amazing to watch somebody so passionate about fishing catch fish
I love your channel sm, the edits and flow of the video is one of the highest out there, definitely a major influence on me and what I try to put into my videos, oh and you’re a god at Texas fishing.
Thresher, you are good. You are good because you do not ask for "likes" or "comments" or to "subscribe". You are doing what you like and people enjoy watching you do it! Well done sir! If only the people trying to get people to like them would stop asking for comments as when they don't like the comments they tell you and the viewers you are a hater for giving them comments they ask for. YOU NEVER ATTACK YOUR VIEWERS! That's why ou are good! Well done Sir. Keep them coming!
Since I stumbled across your channel ive got to say its great seeing someone making great videos of the Galveston area fishing. Galveston gets a bad rap!
Joshua Brown where in Galveston is this?
your videos haven’t been in my sub feed for months now... felt like i was missing out on something👏
Dude you make top quality vids these days i love it keep fishin! Shoutout from Australia
Interesting fishing adventure, loved the drone footage and your jaws music integration. Great job!
I spent all weekend watching your clips. Love your channel. Thanks for the laugh. Keep up the great work!!
Lots going on out there. Plus the rare cow nosed redfish.
I enjoy the quality of work here. Especially how many fish you are able to catch there. Thanks for sharing your beautiful videos.
Its crazy how close they are to shore!Great footage!
Great music. I admire your growing film making skills!
I love that you talk to your catch! It’s pretty cool.
I’m loving the drone shots of the fish.
Wow man. Great shot from above the jetty, never noticed how large it is!
That Drone is awesome/ it offers a new perspective; almost like a third eye.
Being landlocked in Arizona even your trash fish look good to me, Ladyfish on a fly rod would be amazing.
Awesome video like always! Getting close to that 150k, good luck to you! Love the channel!
North TX checking in, killin' it bud! Keep it coming.
Damn so jelly of how easy it looks to walk on your jetty. Our two local ones are all crazy angled rocks. Real ankle breakers and some deep holes/gaps.
Like the music on the background bro, perfect for October, scary!! 👍😆
Love the drone footage bro keep it up
That cownose ray is the best shark bait around there! Should have kept it! Great video!
Yoh are really stepping it up on video quality man, shots and edits. Kydos man, great work.
Its funny how you went from making vids on kayaks to jetty fishing. I knew it would get you hooked once you start catching different species of fish. Majority of everything you do is exactly how to do it. I don't make vids but if i did, i would of been at your status by now. I just need to learn on how to edit. Good job, i like to see others educate and catch fish. Keep up the good work bro. Fish on and tight lines always.
I live here in Nashville TN. Family vacations to Pawleys Island SC every year. Can't wait to get back on the red's. Have a ton of success with fishBites on a high low rig. Can't leave out the flounder either. Love this guys videos.
Should try cape cod one year, houses to rent for a week are decent price, and the fishing is outta this world at buzzards bay or in Jamestown RI , I'm a rhode islander and I will vouch for monster stripers and massive sharks
duuude, I love your positive approach! watching the video and beeing excited with you haha
Damn bro get some sleep! Ha. You Texas guys are really lucky to have access to those jetties. We don’t have anything like that here in Mobile, although our cities are basically twins.
Get you some tortillas and eat you some Spaniard tacos dude!
Love the jaws soundtrack.
awesome b-roll. love u coop, glad to see you haven't given up jetty fishing. oh yes, there are no trash fish just trash cooks.
So true
Have you ever tried to eat a sucker?
If there were many fish they probably hit your line with their mouths open and cut it. great OVERHEAD shots! Crazy footage!!! Way to stay awake! Those are my most memorable outings!
I thought the clip you had on Instagram with the porpoises would be in this vid. Nice catches. I’ll be out there soon.
nice video dude.. love seeing all that fish in the water from your drone..
Great video, that drone sees everything!
your content keeps getting better and better I fuckin love your stuff
Man I love those kind of vids. I have had similar experiences at the water... indescribable..
Can you go over what type of tackle you are using in each video, specifically rod and reel brand, line, line weight, and lures? That would be a very nice addition to your videos. I am enjoying your jetty excursions!
Awesome drone footage!!!
Love the video. Love the drone footage! Good luck wading.
I think that’s a great idea coop.
Lol. Sarcasm at it's best
I run a outdoors ministry Compass Adventures here in Dallas Texas taking fatherless boys on Epic fishing adventures...We are coming to Galveston in June 2019 for 5 days of shark fishing on the beach..Some of the boys would like to meet you...

I've never witnessed redfish schooled up near shore like that, ever. I'm actually jelly & excited at the same time, unreal. Let's think about the possibly of catching your all time PB red?? Epic footage incoming...
Great videos and inspiration. Keep fishing bro
You should do more kayak fishing I love those vids
2 weeks ago we were at Port Aransas and I caught a few surf black drum and a red. And the rest were all ladyfish and gaftops.
For as much as he says “it’s gotta be a red” I don’t think I’ve ever seen him catch a red lol

Hey thresher I wanna try saltwater fishing any tips? Thinking about going to a pier in the Chesapeake bay
Go to a local tackle shop. That's your best bet. Threasher really wouldn't know what's going on in waters he has never fished. Good luck
Adam Smith thanks!
Adam Smith small cut bloodworms on a High lo rig, big chunks of bunker and live spot for big blues and stripers and such
Dillon L. Fishing thanks!
@@dillonfishing thanks bro but rolling thunder was inquiring about the salt water fishing in the Chesapeake. I'm in buffalo on a salmon and steelhead bite. Tight lines.
Hey bro, awesome content! what lb leader were you using to your braid?
Salt Addict 50 or 60lb
Love your videos man!!

Road to 150k and 200k lets get it guys
Cayden Singletary yewwww
Size rod is that bud?
ISAAC MELENDEZ 9’ 1-3 oz I think
swear it sounds like the music from "jaws".. seen it bout 38 times
Coop, love your videos! I am planning a trip to the coast end of Nov. was that the north jetties at Port A?
I cant wait for your video tomorrow!
damn thats beautiful there must be nice...ive only ocean fished a few times but i can get used to doing something like this a rare beauty you have being a local...i had a similar thing here on Lake Ontario teh piers werent nearly as long and are now closed off where i am but for salmon fishing ive lived here my whole life and never really learned to SAlmon fish next year im going to take advantage of it for sure. some things you overlook or take for granted being so close this spot looks beautiful. nice fish too.
id love to do that just pick up a rod and go legit ocean fishing anytime i want.
You probably already know, but if not, the larger tsunami swim baits work wonders on bruiser tarpon
Coop, love your vids! How do you keep line twist out of your line when fishing with spoons? I noticed you tied directly to the spoon with no swivel. Do you have a swivel at the leader to main line connection or is it just a knot? You're awesome.
Braid will absorb some twist but after a while it will mess with line. I usually use coast lock swivels
When ever i get super hungry (and in the mood) i go purposely looking for rays.
They have the best meat>bone ratio, just get rid of the stinger, cut off the wings and get to cooking (if theyre really big you're going to have to skin the wings otherwise it'll turn hard as leather when you cook it)
I also use their guts to catch more fish, either as bait or chum lol
But yeah i even have a small pet ray that i kept for years, i love watching them.... and eating them 3:)
What the audience needs is forging fishing and other states different fish lol keep up the great videos
hey man nice video! i always enjoy watching ur videos! keep it up! one question. Do you use braid to fill up your spool and then a leader at the end ? if so, how long is ur leader and what type ?
2-4' 60lb mono leader for the big rod
Tight lines brotha
