Thanks! Wasn't sure what that trick was called; I remember doing it a lot back in the day. Hoping to get a few shorts of surfing up-the whole camera thing is a pain to figure out. Hopefully, we skate soon! No waves for a while now.
Nice session. I like how theres no need to push a trick. I've been more like that recently especially after some injuries. Practice, get used to it then theres always tomorrow. 👍🏼🤙🏼
Thanks, bro! I've been watching some RUclips videos here and there, and I saw your last manual vid. You've come a long way! You seem 10x more comfortable than you were 5-6 months ago-big props! 🙌 It's funny, younger me would totally push tricks until I physically couldn't anymore. These days, though, it's like you said: there's always tomorrow, and there are so many tricks to learn. Some days, I'm content with cruising and doing a couple of powerslides. I baby my knees, so I'm always trying to avoid injuries as best and as fun as possible
Me too. If I’m really struggling, I move on to something else. If it’s just taking forever, but I can feel my thighs/ legs starting to tire, I call it (or try for one more land depending on the trick) There’s always another day to try again
Yeah I have been really afraid to try the frontside boardslide for that exact reason it feels strange trying to get into it! You have them down no problem, and I love your driveway setup too, its very sick!
Thanks Wes! It's such and uneasy feeling and it comes down to having your upper body ahead of the rail with the board, so I'm told. Just a strange feeling being backwards almost. Still a few away from feeling comfy and not feeling like I'm going to smash my teef. Love my driveway its the default when I can't get to the park, just need some concrete transitions😂 my wife would kill me. Seeing your making some great progress with your ollies! Day 5 looking good!🙌
Thanks, Simon! The very first one was a 360 flip, and all the rest I tried were varial kickflips... at least that's what we called them growing up. Gotta get these bones to jump higher to land these!
Thanks! I was just saying I didn't know what that trick was called, just remember doing them a ton growing up. I would caveman everywhere, and since the board is in the hand, you can flip it and twist it whatever way you want. Really want to start figuring out boneless tricks.
@@OldBrokenSkater awesome yeah the finger flips are a good progression. I've only tried them once as I mostly do that trick on a bank to fakie now and don't need the extra level of difficulty just yet! Be cool to see you do some boneless tricks and then progress them onto your little grind box. Boneless to 5050!
Really looking forward to the surf content!!! 🤙 so jealous of your driveway set up man!! Killing it on the flatground. Nice cavemans at the end!!

I’ve been enjoying seeing the landscape fill in since winter, haha
😂😂😂 Hoping this time next year it will be a new backdrop if we move!
yeah dude never give up
Thanks bro!! 🙌

@@OldBrokenSkater yeah once I finish my Ollie challenge (Moving Ollie’s coming tomorrow) I will have to give those a try on my curb!
Solid session. You have the bs 50:50 down to a t. No rust at all.
Thanks!! It's funny I had not tried those in quite some time and bam started to get them. Maybe thats the secret taking long breaks😂
Great to see you back bro, lovely driveway set up!! Only a few away from that flip make, is it a 360 kickflip? 👊🏻

Great work, shuvits and cavemans looked so nice, I need to start getting them with the one foot planted rather that both feet!
