You might remember the video where we hooked up with Damo Hirst and his 1000cc RM-Z wheelie machine. Well in this video we are meeting the mad genius behind that bike to find out how he built it. Chris Thorpe is then going to set out on a mission to build one of these 1000cc monster's that is truly capable of going into the wild.

This video gives me hope of building my dream bike. A 690 with a cp2 engine in it. After seeing this maybe even considering a cp3 .

@@999lazer have you ever tried the Husqvarna 500 two stroke it has a way better transmission than the cr500 it does over 110 stock. It's not a 1000 but it's fun for what it's is.

I got a 00 CBR600 F4 [carbs] & I work on dirt bikes & four wheelers. I have a 220 4wheeler in my backyard blown motor. Then my friend blew up his 2017 Kawasaki KX450F Beautiful Bike.
If I didn't want to keep my motorcycle the way it is I would be doing a lot of fabrication work right now to put that CBR 600f4 Engine in the four wheeler or dirt bike frame !!

What's the weight? Seems like it's best suited for desert racing like the baja and nothing truly enduro

I was thinking of doing a gsxr 1000 engine in a dr650 too. Do you think it is feasible. It is a 1990 dr650 frame

Seeing is how my engine make 60 hp.... I’m kinda proud knowing I’m making a little less than half the 1000cc’s power with only 1 cylinder 👍...fuckin sweet bike though..it must be a handful to ride

put some aluminum panar luggage on the back and maybe something like a Memphis Shades half Cafe windscreen with some nice acerbis Bark Busters handguards an aftermarket route computer with a GPS and you'll have yourself a serious adventure bike the guys my age 70 years old would be interested in I was never so disappointed when I bought an African twin what a lousy handling piece of crap that is. Years ago I'd be able to cb500 into a Enduro and a lot of people loved it it handled pretty good not bad at all you could jump it off of 5 foot table tops and on Friday night do TT racing Tavern to Tavern
