Their is a fair amount in the player base. It was trending on Twitter, no competent player would follow news about fallout 76 if they don't even play the game. LMAO Unless if you are some socially awkward loner who has nothing to do but want to get mad over a video game that they don't even play than proceed to say "ItS jUst fUnNy" when really they are crying. I don't know, the gaming community is full of surprised and loners. No one ever denies that.
Bethesda is literally the rick roll meme but replace every word of never with always. Always gonna give you up Always gonna let you down Always gonna run around and desert you Always gonna make you cry Always gonna say goodbye Always gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Fallout 76 showcases Bethesda's incompetency, because they've never had to fix these things before. The community did it for them, as an unpaid workforce. For the singleplayer games, the community does all this fixing for them, and more competently, so all Bethesda needs to do for ES6 is make it look pretty and release it. I'm sure it will be fine, no thanks to Bethesda themselves.
Thinking about ES6 makes me imagine an old man slowly loading a revolver, not quite sure if he's going to shoot himself or somebody else. Pretty sure that's some kind of metaphor for Bethesda.
I’ve personally gotten so much value out of Fallout 76. It just keeps delivering so much entertaining content months after release, and I can’t wait to see what Bethesda has in store for the game’s future... And I’ve never even bought the game!

@NPC# 8675309 That sounds about right. I've actually enjoyed playing Fallout 76 on and off. It's not nearly as good as their singleplayer games like Fallout 4 or Skyrim but I've been enjoying it. That being said I don't care nearly enough about the features offered for the 1st membership to pay for it. To me the features (ie. the scrapbox, the tent and the private worlds) all amount to being conveniences (assuming they get to the point of working properly) that I care far too little about. If they are worth money to someone then that's fine but I think I'll just keep earning atoms in game and using those instead of buying them or the membership.

Time for a new generation of game companies to rise up and rip the crown off their head.

John McGuire Honestly with how many people actually paid for this I could see myself doing it too; there’s a point where my mind might just go “Do you think these guys are gonna waste THIS much money on us?” It’s depressing as to how badly Bethesda truly has fallen.

Surely the people that bought this subscription are either: journalists trying to find flaws or people with zero understanding of spoken English and no access to RUclips. I refuse to believe any sane person has bought this yearly subscription.
I'm seeing a pattern here for companies like these:- Create a problem Sell you the solution. Solution is causing a problem? Sell you additional solution! Repeat!

I don't think hijacked is the proper term here.. that implies some sort of unlawful deeds were done to aquire it... when it was just registered by a non-Bethesda individual and turned into a complete truth about what the service really is. If anything "Website Sniped" is more appropriate. Like Ebay sniped. Bethesda didn't bother, the individual(s) noticed it open and available, and registered it themselves. The only thing Bethesda could really do is ... A) try to sue or B) BUY the rights to the site name at this point... which.. is absolutely hilarious to think about.
As someone who has studied trademark and copyright law, it can be argued that the person who bought the domain name is a cybersquatter, or someone who buys a domain name similar or identical to an existing company’s trademark or copyright for some sort of fraudulent purpose, typically to get a quick payoff from the company. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bethesda took this person to court and forced them to relinquish the domain name, as there is statutory and case law to support companies like Bethesda in situations like these.
“It just works,” Todd nervously whispered as he gazed at his monitor. The screen flashes, blips on the radar, quickly approaching. A transmission comes through his radio, the raspy voice of a fanboy, his soul hardened by the great dumpster fire of ‘76. “Where is your god now Todd?” he questions. The blips have almost reached their destination. A siren sounds. People scream. A tear rolls down Todd’s cheek. A flash of days long past flies by in his mind; a distant visage proudly stating “We think a lot of people will like it, because we like it.” The image fades and the screaming of the falling bombs is heard. A deafening blast. A blinding flash. Silence. 200 years in the future a scavenger wanders aimlessly into town. A building, half destroyed, half decayed in view, and a sign. “Bethesda Game Studios.” He walks into the building. The wastelander begins to deconstruct a terminal, searching for scrap circuit boards, ignorantly unaware that the decrepit skeleton of the man he is standing over is the who started it all.

One of the guys complaining admitted 76 farming and selling items is his day job! Azzhat bought the subscription for the unlimited scrap inventory so he can make more money selling items on ebay or whatever. I have no compassion for these cl0wns!
I blame the idiots who put money into this game. They’re the reason Bethesda does it. Because they know there are dumbasses who will eat anything they shit out
You've never heard of shills and whales, have you?
community: here's the bug we're experiencing
bethesda: I don't believe you
Not quite.
"I'll GLADLY believe you... at the extremely generous price of $6,99 a month! Moreover, I will actually do something about it if you go for my exclusive special Problems Fixing membership, at $9,99 a month. And heck, why not go even further... what I will do might actually have a chance to fix it if you take my premium offer at $14,99! :D"
Well, given that Trump's brother is on Bethesda's board of directors, it's no wonder they're screaming "fake news" .
@@LuminousLead Bethesda: The Art of the Bug
More like believe you for 12.99 a month what kind of idiot would buy a subscription that fixes the game when it should’ve never been broken when they opened the case
They should make everything free for the people that actually still play this shit game
they don't have enough players to make a profit from that so they are being even greedier towards the small existing players rather than trying to make a competent game to attract new players lol
Simon Chase i wish but they made a lot of money from fallout and skyrim and it still dribbles in plus the whales with few brain cells on fallout 76 will sustain them for now.
@@rpgshadowmorn2683 idk as greedy as they, the suits, up top are they are probably pocketing alot of the money they get and leave a bare minimum for gaming production. Which makes me feel like the suits are either abandoning ship soon, seeing as they just about shafted their entire fanbase, or they are trying to interest investors with some new BS anti consumer tactic so they can get more money to continually shaft their already waning fanbase.
@@rpgshadowmorn2683 believe it or not they do actually have lots of players that still play....
@@rpgshadowmorn2683 It will go f2p. It will. It will. I'll play it just for the lulz, I wont buy anything.
Dude, Fallout 76 has been a goldmine for Yong/Jim, the fact you can make daily videos on Fallout 76's issues is nuts, says a lot.
Seems Todd is in love with yong
lmao yes, they should thank bethesda for being greedy idiots
2019 has been a gaming controversy goldmine as a whole.
i wasnt expecting to see you here
Sometimes more than 1 a day
South Park bank employee: "Aaaaaand it's gone!"
What did you say?
"Okay, who decided to pipe the updates to the Scrapboxes to /dev/null?"
-overheard in Bethesda
You know what their solution to the scrap box issue will be?
"Get your Scrap Box fix for 7.99, now in the Atomic Store!"
*Shop
I don't play the game but I would imagine you can already buy scrap from the shop. If not, expect to see it in there soon.
I seriously want to see that happen. 76 is very entertaining to me in a very unintentional way. That would make for a very interesting next chapter.
James Buck lmao
The FTC needs to get involved in all this... these “aaa” companies are getting way out of hand with their lies and misleading sales and information
Not to mention releasing games that are broken to the point that it is unplayable and refuse to refund
Surely this classifies as false advertising.
@@TheOriginal_Unaleska Prove it in court. Its your money vs their money.
Sadly it's against the law for government organizations to forcibly change how businesses sell their products in capitalist countries. Doing so would be communism or socialism
@@jillgrimwater3726 So we cant regulate a bait and switch strategy or a false advertising strategy without being communist? I didnt realize the freedom to lie and deceive was was so important.
I'm gonna call it. They are going to start charging for patches soon.
You heard it here first.
They’re already doing that lmao
Private server DLC $25 on top of $100 pass
They might at this point. From what i heard on some other news, they are facing some threats of their investors... If they can't make more money, they might as well leave. That would be a true wound phisical for bethesda, probably the worst they could face right now... Especially in this timing, all the backclashes, bad publicity, terrible marketing and com...
Yup. They are f**ked.
@@sirjazz1268 Bethesda doesn't have many investors, the majority of its shares are owned by zenimax
@@InitialPC indeed, my appologies... Quite difficult to follow all the news and combine them.
The thing is, there was some investors of Zenimax who offered a lot and requested them to make big and lots of profit. Their name was, if I believe the news that I saw, "Providence Equity Partners"... Also might warn now, I'm french, so some info might go over my head... still, I hope those info will help to backtrack the source. ^^'
Regardless, they might have threatened Zenimax to leave if there was not enough money to come back to them, which is why bethesda is currently rushing for the most income possible.
When the parody page of their membership becomes reality, that's when everyone should just uninstall the game
