Looks like a great affordable option for much more temperate areas. Your cold garage temp is actually warmer than I keep mine in the winter when I heat it. I typically turn my heat up to 65-70 before I work in it and then I can turn it off for working and filming.
Hope the video helps. I was watching so many videos on different types of heaters that I think my eyes started bleeding. LOL This seemed to be the best option for me out of all of them.
Glad you found it useful. I’ve been in the garage all day today working on my bike while it was snowing outside. I actually had to turn the heater off a couple of times because it got so hot.
Does the bulb have a very bright orange glow? I have noticed on some of these cheap infared heaters like the one I have it is almost blinding at night outside on our patio without any other lights on. The reason I ask is this company makes a 6000 watt heater with the same carbon fiber bulbs in it like the one you have. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello, how long does it take to heat up? Mine isn’t doing anything. I Plugged it in and the power like stays on, even when I try to turn it off. It’s been about 15 min so far.
@ oh ok thanks for the reply. I need one for a enclosed sunroom with slat windows but it’s small 160sf so this might do the trick if I put plastic over the windows
I had a heater like this just stop working just within a year of owning it so it didn't even last a full calendar year. Wondering if there's a way to fix it.

I just received the two I bought can’t wait to try them
Let me know how you like them. It’s still too warm here to set mine back up but I’m sure I will be in about 6 weeks.
great video. concise. no nonsense... I put mine together before watching this... realized the extra hardware ... but his explained... thx
Heat Storm! awesome name
LOL I wouldn't exactly call it a "storm", but it's a good heater. 😅
I just started looking for one. Thank you!

@@withPercy 😂 I hate when that happens! This definitely helps. Appreciate you!!!
Hi Dave, that's a good option for a garage heater!
Great review. I'm in the market for a heater. Thanks for sharing
You bet! Hope the video helps.
Very helpful review thanks!

I bought one used. But the cord on the unit gets really hot. Is the unit bad or what can cause the cord to get hot?
I’m not sure that I would keep using that. Doesn’t sound safe to me.
are there several heat settings, like low-medium-high? or just one setting?

Hey there! Mine heats up pretty quickly. There might be an issue with yours?
Mines doing the same
wondering the same thing.
Now I just need to find an affordable home with a garage to put it in.
Heh. Heh. Heh.
Home Depot has in stock !!
That sucks about your fender. Was it the left of the right fender the one that has to be repainted?
It was the front left.
How much does it cost to run?
No idea. Never looked at that. I only use it when I’m working in the garage Jan/Feb.

Good for outside use?

They're usually very simple affairs. Does it have a replaceable halogen bulb?
built in obsolescence. Don't expect anymore from this criminal marxist system we live in. You will own nothing and like it.
Motorcycles, accessories, garage heaters, thermometers. Dave's becoming another Phil Swift! ruclips.net/video/0xzN6FM5x_E/видео.html
Thanks, I've just watched a video where a fan is shown to cut down the heating time - might help ya: ruclips.net/video/Sbzv8o59_po/видео.html
What does your bike and what day it is have to do with the product that is in the title? One minute wasted.
When its -6.C outside it heats my double car garage to 10.C
