    We tried it at home and got amazing result, instead os 12 hr cooking just cooked in cooker for 30 minutes and 45 more minutes of open cooking, You are "the Chef".

    Boss my father told me this when i was of about 9 or 10 year old ...ki beta daal makhni ko banane k liye subha 3 baje se lagna padta h tab jakar lunch k liye ready hoti h ....uske baad aaj aapne bataya ki itna time lagta h ...I m a doctor but khane ka m itna bada shaukeen hu ki m Bata nhi sakta .....aur aapki videos ...the way of describing the methodology is the best....thank you ❤️ se apko

    Hi Chef, I tried to cook Dal Makhani in the same style, It took almost 18 hours to prepare the whole reciepe and the taste was delicious and thickness is also same a restaurant style. Everyone at home appreciate it a lot..., Thanks a lot sir... 🙏🙏

    I just landed on this video while searching for the Dal Makhani recipe and happened to see Chef Bhupi's other recipe videos as well and Oh Boy!     One of the best and 'honest' Dal Makhani recipes I have found online. Without the use of onion and masala's, I will need to make this just for that reason alone!! Maybe name this dal as Dal Bhupi?

    Shef shef hota hai akhir ..... Kyuki ek aam daal ko itni mehenat se daal makhni sirf wahi bna sakte hai....ek dam sahi baat boli unhone ghar me ham itni mehnat nhi kar payenge.... Bohot mehenat or swadisht majedar daal makhni bnai apne....

    This looks like real restaurant recipe, i knew they don‘t use pressure cooker in restaurant. One video I saw, Chef would boil raw dal multiple time and throw black water, till water becomes clear. I always add bhuna zeera to this dal, it helps digestion. Or one can eat raita with bhuna zeera. Raita in general aids digestion. I saw another video of yours, one person commented: “truly underrated channel”. I couldn‘t agree more.     It's wonderful. Never thought so much efforts goes behind every plate. This reminds me Amitabh Bachan's dialogue from Cheeni Kam film. It's says Hum duniya ke sabse bade kalakar hai. Because chef influences all the sense organs with his receipe. Like wise you too is a sabse bada Kalakar. Hats off to you sir. Jai Hind. Than Q very much.

    I have seen at least 20 recipies of dal makhani on youtube, incl the recipie by big chefs like vikas khanna. All make us fool, that is not how dal makhani is made.
    This is the best, honest and proffessional recipie, liked the art of making.

    I owned an indian restaurant in an europien city from 1998 - 2002 and also earned some awards.
    I sold dal makhni at heigher price than chicken dishes.

    Chef so I used a thing called SLOW COOKER. I left it overnight for 12 hours and the result was dal makhni like a restaurant. Thank You.

      @@PratikPachal I dont think so. Slow cooker cooks the dal perfectly. I too have used it to make dal makni and left it over night if I wanted it for lunch. Tastes awesome.

    I live in UK . I make Daal makhni and I do cook for around 12-14 hours but I leave the Daal in slow cooker and let it cook slowely . In the end colour look so beautiful and tempting. sabre ka fal meetha hi nahi chatpata bhi hota he .

    Sir, I appreciate the top secret method used in the receipe of this dish that you have disclosed for your viewers. However, I am a bit skeptical that such an overly cooked food has not lost its nutrional value during the entire cooking process. I wonder what kind of nutritional value this kind of food will give it to its consumer especially when it is cooked for 12 to 14 hours.

      Slow-cooked food is always more nutritious than say if you cooked this on high flame in a pressure cooker in 15-20 mins. This is how our ancestors used to cook everything.

    such unhealthy, starchy, and rich creames daal that too wastage of 12 hours......does not seem quite a workable idea either for resturant owers......u have to make daal makhani only.....not wall of china...
