  • In this video Dr. Chaitanya Chandarana explains his journey of doing Dentistry in Canada after BDS/MDS. In the interview he answers the following questions -
Why did you decide to shift to Canada?
Though you have done your MDS, why did you take the licensure route of a BDS and not the specialist route?
What are the recent changes in the process?
How was the exam process? Difficulties faced?
Did you join any coaching institute?
Many are of the opinion join a small course there like diploma or MPH and simultaneously give NDEB, what is your advice?
Should we wait for PR before giving exams or start before that?
What is the situation of getting jobs there after clearing NDEB as all might not want to start a practice?
Your advice for people wanting to take the route you took?

I am in the mid of process of equivalency and can totally relate to it, what Dr Chaitanya explained in 1 30 min, it take months if you ask from family & friends. No filter, just the facts. Canada has a point based PR system as well in which you are not applying as a dentist but over all each degree post graduate degree and other factors are given points. He applied using that. For further details will suggest contacting a consultancy which helps with PR process.
