Bought Mine Back in April of 2018, I Added a VTAC Sling, Burris P.E.P.R. Scope Mount/Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25-4x Low-Power Scope, and Lancer Smoke 30rd Mags. I'll Probably Add an Upgraded LANTAC BCG Down The Road, The The Stock One Is Fine For Now. Plenty Fun To Shoot Various 55gr., 62r., 73gr. and 77gr. 5.56/.223 Without Any Failure To Feed/Fire - Great Job RUGER!!!
Got one of these Rifles a few months ago...my first rifle...put a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 red dot on in less than 10 minutes. (Sight came with wrench for installation) very accurate rifle with the 18 inch barrel (most rifles have 16 inch barrels)
Man I want one . Have had the original 556 tricked out for a while but this is rifle length with a trigger and looks like. A nice shooter for sure . Tried the precision sniper rifles and the ya re bad ass too . So accurate with a good scope .
Bought a 556 8 months ago. Average ar with an exceptional barrel. With a little trigger work shoots about an inch and half moa with all types of ammo. That is incredible. Would be better but I need the heavier trigger spring because I am addicted to steel cheap ammo. Tul ammo is $4.79 for 20 rounds from wall mart. Tough to beat for $480 and made in North Carolina.
@@MidlifeCrisisTactical Yeah I got mine at Vance Outdoors for $699.99 . They even had a deal with a case, a few hundred dollar worth optic and magazines for $699.99 running between April and the end of May but it was sold out quick before I got to it.
Does anyone have problem with the bolt catch? I am looking to buy one and I've been seeing videos with the bolt catch having a problem to lock back after the last round.
That was just that one guy, he got a lemon. Mine works great! The trigger is amazing!! My buddy put a $250 Geiselle trigger in his Colt, and when he shot mine he said it's lighter and crisper than his
Maybe try a lighter buffer weight or stronger ammo? Or check that the gas block on the barrel and the gas key on the bolt carrier is tight. Might be low on pressure.
Get if you haven't already even though the price has jumped since then. Got mine about a month ago and it is a damn good shooter with no recoil at all hardly. And already set up to mount anything you want or need
Huh? Between grammar, spelling punctuation... I think I get what you're saying but since you got everything wrong, I'm gonna chalk the issue up to user error as well.
Have you had any problems with the BCG? I see a lot of complaints about it but it looks like that was with the new releases a year or 2 ago. Just curious.
I got this little beast about 6 months ago. Amazing weapon!!! Pinpoint accurate and not a single jam after at least 1500 rounds.

I love mine , I can't miss a shot with it. I put 120 rounds in a group the size of a plum at 100 yards.

What did you need on the barrel area to add the VTAC Sling?
I like what you did with your ear muffs lol
Just got me one..cant wait to take it to the range!
Bought one in February right before the rona hit. Absolutely love this rifle.

this looks better than the M&P 15 Sport II
Every ar does
All Ruger AR 556's are a better option than the m&p sport 2
That muzzle brake is super loud probably the loudest I’ve ever heard on a AR.
Is that why they call it a screaming good deal?......I'll let myself out

Hey, John. Did you ever modify your MPR? Mine won't cycle with steel cased ammo at all.
Picked one up a month ago, and I'm in love!
Ordered one yesterday and I'll be picking it up Tuesday. I'm super excited for this. Thank you for the video !
how much did you pay? Got mine 2 weeks ago for $800...wondering if I got a little screwed due to the Corona gun rush...

@@nohaxinvolved3619 Damn, that's a good deal...
Got mine for 610$ out the door with a case, I'm guessing they thought it was the basic ruger 556 hahaha
@@MidlifeCrisisTactical man I got mine for $800, too. No regrets, but I would have liked to have paid less.
I just bought one 😋😎
@Focke Wulf me too. Cant wait. I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered because of...well Fedex mediocre service.
Same here. Trying it out tomorrow
How do you like it?
@@TommyboyGTP Loud and badass.
Just bought 1 yesterday lol
The FFL emailed me yesterday. I'm picking mine up tomorrow.
Hows the rifle
Ruger MPR, best AR on the market!
Best cheap AR on the market
If you like being able to hear anything at all change the muzzle break ... awesome rifle but the break will bust your ears
Love mine
Going to buy one in March
I own this rifle and like it, but this is an informercial and it annoys me that they act like its a third party review. Don't insult us.
How does it group on paper? Will it consistently do 1 MOA with the right ammo?
awesome now I hope I just win the one you're giving away
0:56 the guy is scared of the recoil…. Wow
I'm right handed but my right eye is damaged. Is this rifle lefty friendly? I mean I don't want the brass slapping me in the face.
Click on the link provided, and you'll see that this rifle is no longer available. Is the Ruger plant shut down? Must be the case.
It's still being made. The link was a Gallery of Guns link, not ruger. And it's working again.
Great rifle 😍 I get one myself
Any opinions on running the factory bcg or a psa Nicole boron bcg if I was going to use this as my self defense rifle? I’m leaning toward the psa...
Manda uma desse de presente pra mim
What was the scope and scope mount that ar had on it
Whats better this or m&p sport 2
Bought mine when corona first hit. Got a good deal. Can hit an apple size target at 200 yarss
Were do I get one from?
It comes with the scope too?
No scope.
No sights at all.
What kind of scope was that on it ?
Is it mil spec?

Where do your shells eject? Straight to the side, angled towards the front, or angled towards the rear?
I didn’t get one with that issue
Wich rifflescope its used on this riffle?
Brand is leupold but not sure which model.
I think it is the Leupold® VX-Freedom Rimfire Riflescope
No cycling issues with the rifle length GS on an 18” barrel?
Not on mine ever in 600 plus rounds and that was with steel, brass, from the lightest ammo to the 110g silent strike ammo with no issues at all
1500 rounds through mine and not a single issue or jam.
Mine has slop between upper and lower receivers
Mine too. They are not great rifles. The M&P15 is a far better AR. My MPR won't cycle with steel cased ammo at all.
@@funkingitup1805🙄
Is the castle nut staked? I didnt see one.
Bill Trimarco it dose not come staked from the factory.
Nope
Mine came staked from the factory. I think they had issues with that and had to fix it.
Is the Barrel on this ar heavy barrel?
no
@@funkingitup1805 ok thanks
Now just make a .308 just like it
They did! Woohoo
Josh Cross what???
@@jshaw1503 they made an AR10 version
Josh Cross I can’t find a 7.62x51 offering, I see the 450 bushmaster one
That's the piston model, it's more expensive but it's available. I swear I saw something about them making the cheaper D.I. model, recently though.
KoD
I think I'm going with this over the Sig Tread. Same price, but this Ruger has everything I want.
JDEZ09 same price? The tread is like 850. This is about 650. I’d go with the tread if they are the same price.
That’s just me though. It’s all about what you’re looking for.

It is a nice rifle. But it has a cheap bolt carrier group. Install a quality M16 bolt carrier group and it will probably run and run
@Focke Wulf The BCG is not chrome lined. Neither is the barrel or chamber.
What is cheap about it? I might swap the original out
