I visited the offical Audi service few months ago to do a 7 speed s tronic transmission service (oil and filter) for a4 b9 2016. and they replaced the oil. I asked if filter is replaced and they told me that it is not needed. Is this correct, and what should i do? Btw. everything works fine in this moment with the transmission.
I'm confused, I have Audi A5 7.11.2016 2.0 Tfsi S tronic Quattro keynr: 0588-BIW00018 and my S tronic Gearbox have no filter , I just ordered complete kit together with sump and everything that need to be replaced but have no filter . Is European model. I also replaced Haldex oil and didn't see any filter. Gearbox code is 0G7

It is not not leaking, only sweating. :-) It happens with a lot of A4 B9 S Tronic sadly. I call this a leaky car. It is leaking ATF oil and coolant also sinds 20.000 km. I check my ATF oil level every year and my coolant in every month. The dealer checked my ATF leak, they sad, they al leak like that, don't worry about that. They sad your lost only around 1 dl. They sad to me basicly, if you want to change the 1 eur gaskit, its's gonna cost you around 1000 eur. The support X onder the car has to come out. A lot of work, they sad. If somebody can do this at home, please make a film of it.
@@nomechanic2019 Hello, I replaced the oil pan gasket but unfortunately still sweats. I think it comes from the gearbox assembly, not the turtle seal? Do you have any experience with this?
Peter Farkas Szia Peter 😀, I do not know where it’s coming from, on my car carter sealing but also from higher. Next time maybe I not gonna buy on Audi because of this leaks.
I also changed my seal for oil pan. Still sweting but discovered that the screws between transmission and engine were not tightened properly and there was a leak there too. In 50.000km it only lost 100ml of ATF.
When I try to change the engine oil on my q5, I accidentally opened the transmission fill port and there was some atf coming out of it. What do u recommend to do at this point

@@oijhhytdirhrbru could you please clarify, this transmission has two containers with oil, one that has mechatronics and the other with mechanical parts. The guy on video changing the oil from mechatronics container, am I correct?
I'd still didn't understand the process. 2.7 litres of oil been charged. So take out the oil fill with 2.7 back and run the car till reach the temperature and then run the car in all gears. Top up with another 2.7 or just top up till come out as is not clearly 🙄🤔
Just put a little bit more oil in it, warm it up and let out the extra oil. I simplified it now a little bit of course. If you still has questions just look on youtube dsg fluid change. You can find a lot of Golfs.

I took my 2018 A4 for gearbox service and only only do a oil change, they do not change the filters, not sure why but they say it’s not needed
and the 3 filtre and cleaning the carter change magnet?

Haldex? Isn't haldex type of quattro? And A5 2016 definitely does not have Haldex type quattro

How did you check ATF oil level ? And how much OIL goes in your transmission?
2,75 liter, so you have to put at least 3 liter in it first. Officially you have to put 3,5 liter in it first and you drain back, what too much is.

If it was a lot dan you have to put some Atf fluid in it and than put it to the good nivo. Actually dan folow all of the staps here.
Engine did not run that time. (first time) That was my mistake. Next day I did it again with running engine.

Dat can not be done. When you are done with the filling, you have to take out your fill plug and put the normal plug back. You gonna lose the oil.
